Great Rock at Branson

We have been members with this resort for about 20 years but we have noticed a decline over the years. At this point, for the past 2 years we have been unable to use our membership because the rooms are not finished, yet they are constantly requesting we pay our dues.

We have sent dispute letters to the address and the letters have been returned as non-deliverable. We are seeking to be advised the contract for timeshare has been CLOSED, and we have been absolved of any and all obligation. We have not received any correspondence from the Grand Regency Resort in close to a year now. Please notify us that this matter has been resolved.

We purchased the timeshare at Grand Regency in 2002. We never received a hardcopy contract. It was purchased through ***. I didn't realize I didn't have a contract until we started having issues. The issues started in about 2013--they said that we didn't pay our maintenance fee. I have cancelled checks. They were cashed. They claim even after the bank faxed the cancelled checks that they did not receive the fax. When I asked who owned the resort, the woman, said her father did--his name is ***. I received an email from him. He apologized for accounting errors. We then began paying by credit card. I had problems getting my week deposited to International Interval. In 2015, there was a new person taking calls. The week wasn't deposited again. Used a Visa card. In 2016, I should have had two weeks, but they said they were never deposited. In August of 2017, I spoke to *** (***), they had closed up the Colonnade. She offered to pick up the records for $27 and cancel the contract. It was confirmed by the records person in Branson, ***. (*** told me that *** had borrowed $10 million from *** in *** and he wasn't paying them. She learned this via Casenet and Missouri court.) I called the attorney, *** a lawyer in Branson (was referred to him.) I have spoken to ***. He told me by letter that he would not charge me more than $750. Now I don't hear from him. He told me that it would take about 6 months, and it has been that long. But when I call him, I get voice mail and he never returns the call. He did cash our check in October of 2017. I received a letter from Missouri Association Management asking for $710 as a maintenance fee and telling me that a website would be set up by January 15, 2018. There is a website but it asks for a lot of personal information that I am not willing to share. There is a website full of complaints on www.***.
