The engine was intentionally identified as a [redacted] E9-500 horse power engine s/n 9E1659. When we picked it up, there were actually two different identification plates on 2 different valve covers(engine actually has four valve covers). The E9-500 plate that the seller used to advertise it. The other plate was for a E9-440 HP. The identification number that is actually stamped on the engine block is E9-440 HP s/n 2R7016. This serial number corresponds with a 1982 build. Not a 1989 that was advertised. All this information can be verified with a Mack dealer.Product_Or_Service: EngineDesired SettlementWe would like to be fully refunded for the engine and expenses involved in this matter. Our company had to pay an employee plus the fuel for this trip. We paid $3600.00 for the engine and $500.00 for the other expenses.
