Good Afternoon ***,We apologize for any inconvenience this may have causedTickets that are sold through Customer Service Representatives and vendors are marked with an expiration date, while passes purchased through Ticket Vending Machines are blank white tickets that are valid for monthsWe
are aware that previously tickets sold through Ticket Vending Machines were not printing expiration dates and that has since been correctedWe would like to offer you two 2-ride tickets for the inconvenience that has taken place, Please verify a valid mailing address and we will provide you with the two 2-ride tickets.Thank You!-Greater Cleveland RTA Customer Service

*** and found the description of the incident to be correctThe reason the customer could not access her account on the RTA CLE mobile ticketing app was directly associated to the failure of the customer to retain mobile phone cellular service. After purchase and initial use of the RTA CLE mobile ticketing app fare media, the customer wasrequired to re-log in to her accountThe customer was unable to access her account because her mobile phone service was not active, not because RTA or the RTA CLE mobile app malfunctionedMobile phone cellular service is required to log in to RTA CLE accounts and the application. When cellular service is restored, account access will be permittedUnfortunately, the previously purchased and activated 7-Day pass will have already expired. It is understood that mobile phone and cellular access is required to utilize the RTA CLE app, and therefore, RTA will not be taking any additional action on this complaint. They have apologized and of course found that the person came off harsher then was intended so I have accepted the response from the business's External Manager because they also found that it was rude and uncalled for.
