Review: I went to the recycling center in mid December with $1920 worth of copper wire. I was told that according to law, they had to wait two weeks in order to pay me. I waited until January and contacted them and they made an excuse about a banking problem, but assured me that it would be forthcoming. I have been there bi-weekly since that time and been told different excuses including, "the check is in the mail"Desired Settlement: I would like to be paid

This guy wasn't told anything dishonest. As I have repeated many times, papers get shuffled incorrectly at times, but what I had explained to him from the due date was that our mother company was in that bank switch and had no bank for almost a month and we were only issued funds to run day to day and not allowed to write any checks, as soon as they tied back in and the funds were released he was paid and cashed his check a couple weeks ago. Gotta love these guys that don't listen. thank anyway!

Review: I turned in some scrap metal and was given a reciept in the amount of 647.70. The lady then told me to wait two weeks before I could get my check. I agreed and waited. It has been over a month now and still no payment. She keeps giving me excuses about the payment and leaves the phone off the hook so I can't call her. I have talked to other scrap bussinesses and they have told me she has done this to many other people. It is time someone has done something about this. She can't rob people of their money and continue to get away with it.Desired Settlement: I would like my money or the equvalent in the scrap metal I took in at the very least.

Thank you for your concern. As in the past, on occasions the accounting people get tickets in the wrong stacks, if you will. There are outgoing which are on a hold and fall under state law rules and there are daily outgoings. His was put into the wrong spot, but he was paid quite some time ago, I sure he just took his money and run rather than letting you know that it was long since resolved. Thank you for resolving this issue for me. I have been trying for almost two months to get my money from them, and you guys came through. I was told it was her accountants fault, and found out that she is the accountant through her rival business. She has done this many times to people in our community. As you can see by her response what type of person she portrays herself as. I QUOTE "he probably took the money and ran" those were her words. This is the type of attitude I got from her since day one. Complete dissrespect for her customers,the exact opposite of what a good bussiness should be. Anyways thank you soo much for your help. I could not have done it without you. Have a wonderful holidays.

Review: I turned in scrap solid copper cable from a fire alarm job at [redacted]. This cable was legally obtained and intended as a bonus for the crew. I recycled it at this business and was told there was a two week waiting period. I have been recycling cable from my industry for 16 years, so I was familiar with the laws. At 3 weeks, I had not received payment and was told the check was in the mail. At 4 weeks, I am told we'll look into it and had no response. I feel like I'm getting the run around and meanwhile I have co-workers that are out a bonus they worked hard for and could use since the job is over and we are out of work. I get angry and don't deal well with situations like this, so I thought I'd try your help, thanks.Desired Settlement: I would like a check, to be placed in my hand at the business as soon as possible. If they are having financial problems, I would like cash as soon as possible. I just want our money!
