I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[It is troubling to understand how any business could go as far as to deny what trouble they have causedNot to mention that by blaming someone else for your job that was paid for is non-sense as we understand we are not the developers and would not touch any settings we do not understand or knowThe following items were not fixed or completed from the beginning and you want to blame someone else for all these settings being move by usThe following are issues we currently still have and you make sense of why we would change these settings ourselves: 1) Payment processing settings that didn't allow for customers to buy our products2) Email notifications and design elements in email are not working and allowing us to be notified (which we paid an extra $after the fact) and it still is not workingWe also called our email reps and checked all settings and our emails still work perfectly on their own, but from our website, NOTHING! 3) Tax settings for all of our USA states are missing and orders aren't receiving any tax4) The majority of our past data (emails, contacts) is gone and no where to be found which is crucial for our business5) SSL certificates are still not anywhere to be found on our siteThese are the main concerns that were never completed after our theme switch. It's sad to hear a response that basically says, "it's your fault and we know our product and service doesn't work correctly but we worked on the time we said and we will take no responsibility for it not being done the way we contracted it." Essentially that is what you are saying and it's very disappointingWhy would we change ALL those above mentioned settings and create problems for ourselves when we know we are not experts in Magento? Prior to making this website switch, all these major issues never existed and you are essentially blaming us and saying it had nothing to do with your theme switch and we moved all these settings and messed up so many DIFFERENT things on our websiteMakes no sense! If you feel we are lying or misleading any of this information please feel free to check on these *** *** for this company which basically share the same sentiment about this companies business practices and service. ***If you are not willing to refund ALL of the work we paid for from the beginning then we will atleast ask for the refund on the second phase of work from theme switch and the extra $Which would be a total of $1,Please also check our website to verify some of the issues I addressed above and confirm we are not making up stories here***]

All functions were working until the clients company's graphic designer started changing settings on the site after the site was signed off on as completed. Then, when customer contacted us because things were now not working we still tried to help fix things even though it was passed the scope of...

work contracted. The SSL doews work, the settings for the order processing was the only out of scope work we didnt do because it would take a lot of time retesting everything and our main developer on the project was unavailable so we told the customer to go ahead and feel free to find another developer. The system was working, and the site was singed off on and client changed settings on a very complex ecommerce magento platform. Additionally, the email notifications were tested and the site was working fine, it was the customers email DNS servers that needed to be authenticated, and again this was out of the scope of contracted work.
