I am the owner of our 70 year old family business and am following up with you to reply to ID# [redacted] regarding [redacted] and her concern over a GE refrigerator.   I have attempted to contact [redacted] and will try and bring closure to this issue.  I left her a voice message this morning...

1/4/2015 to speak with her about the matter.  Undetermined odor issues in a refrigerator are very uncommon and often hard to know cause or how to correct. We have replaced an evaporator motor and actuator foam deflector and a foam evaporator cover assembly that could trap some odor and be part of the problem.   If you have any other questions or concerns you can reach me at our store at ###-###-####.  Thanks.  [redacted]Grebe’s Inc. Review: I purchased a new GE refrigerator 10/29/15 at Grebe's. After it was delivered, and running, I noticed an off odor from the freezer. It affected the food kept there. The food then had an off/chemical taste. The smell is now in the refrigerator section. Grebe's sent repairmen. 1st to replace a fan motor. This did not resolve the odor. Then they sent another repairman who claimed he couldn't find anything wrong or even admitted to an off odor. He said he would order a part that would take a week to arrive. I didn't hear back for 2 weeks. I went to the store and the service manager claimed no one had signed for the part there. He then ordered the part and the repair man came again and replaced an "actuator". There is still a strong odor. I don't feel grebe's is taking this seriously. They are replacing things that oviously are not the problem. I have had to waste everything in the freezer. I keep very little in the fridge, because I don't want to waste more food. I don't feel a brand new fridge should have such problems. I would like this to be made right. When I spoke with [redacted] on the phone, he was very demeaning and rude to me, so I don't think this can be resolved by communication with him.Desired Settlement: Expedited replacement or money refunded
