Motors 9/5/*** *** san AntonioTX*** Revdex.com: This truck was towed in and would not run, shuts off when running, verified complaint and oring on fuel filter leaking, which causes air to pass in fuel system, which causes motor to starve for fuel.We repalced oring at fuel cannister and filter continues to leak ( verified by driver which is the owner of the trucks Father) we replaced filter assy with customers parts that he supplied still would not run, but no leaks were present after replacing filter, Customer stated that truck was just serviced by *** and they must of done something wrongWe moved truck into shop to further diagnosis and stayed until 7:in the evening , Took customer to hotel and picked customer up the next morning, replaced fuel pump and fuel pump regulator and found black tar in fuel sytem, cleaned fuel system at fuel filter canister (pictures attached) as best as possible without removing tanksTest drove truck and truck ran and had one glitch but cleared so we recommended fuel system cleanerHad driver drive with technician and truck ran good but had glitch and it cleared up, customer chose to take truck to take back to home baseCustomer was told that the still was issues, but wanted to go. I am rejecting this response because: The truck didn't have a fuel problem to begin with freightliner in Beaumont to fixed the truck with no problem. You guys even asked to see the invoice from freightliner and it was sent to your business on behalf of freightliner. The owner was never connected until the truck broke down again.
