Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:the transmission shop gave them a statement that under conditions the service they provide would not cause harm to the transmission in this case they attemted to install a new filter and gasket not the service they charged extra $but do to incorrect installation caused lack of fluid causing overheated trans failure the next day they tried to correct problem by purchase of ford brand fluid but damage was done they drove car backwards as it would not go forward back to transmission shop a second time and the owner MARK agreed they made a mistake agreed to car rental until my vehicle finished the manager threats to his employee to call me and lie(tony) or lose his job the manager Jeremy claims I told tony to install the incorrect fluid and filter so failure was my fault the transmission shop they use actually did the repair at a cost of $ and of course Jeremy refused to contact owner to avoid further cost of storage and to get the car back I paid in full then I returned rental car they rented on the quick lube account they cancelled the card and enterprise RAC came after me for another $ I paid them in full I'm not seeking damages other than what the owner of quick lube agreed shook my hand apologized for their mistake and offered free car washes when problem solved the statement from the transmission shop only applies when a standard fluid only change is performed not in this case the [redacted] transmission shop provided the (not their fault statement) to continue being the shop they use and why if they did not cause the problem ever before do they have an account at the local shop that has fixed their mistakes in the past at least the owner of [redacted] transmission was honest enough to tell me the truth and not to let a car wash service transmissions [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***

To regards of the issue, after the vehicle was brought to the transmission shop it was discovered that the service that [redacted] purchased had nothing to do with the transmission failing.Thank youJeremey G[redacted]
