Response taken by phone: We did not do the installation on this job I have done other work for them and I did tell them I would fix thisI will be in touch with them by the end of the week

9/19/2016Response to Complaint ID *** I am very disappointed and disturbed by this complaint There is no monies to be given to Ms*** She hired my company to do a project She has the contract and the amount to be paid She paid the original amount owing plus
$ The electrician was paid for his subcontracted services The $Ms*** refers to, plus and additional $for the other work and RGE completion certificate But the $left is for my company; all my expenses in having a company, my time involved in this project, total trips to the home site and suppliers and company overhead, profit, fixed & variable expenses known as cost burden. The leak referred to was not from the roof project The leak was from a preexisting unattached vent pipe I recommended how to fix it and what the cost would be if further explanation is necessary on either electric or faulty vent pipe, please let me know.Thank you,Brian Sallerson

[redacted] The contract quoted was $2,125 for the job.  When the job was done, I still had no electricity in certain areas and they wanted more money for the job that was already contracted for at $2,125.  I paid him another $200 on top of the contracted amount so he owes me money back.  Once a contract is signed, there should be no adjustments in the price.  And the number of trips made to my house does not matter, that is part of his job as the contractor, and should not cost me more money. As for the preexisting condition he is referring to on my roof, that was a standard roofing situation that should be checked before the new roof was put on.  And when they put the roof on, it was guaranteed by his company and he’s charging more money to come back and fix something that was already contracted for.
