On May 14, we moved *** and *** *** from ***, CO to *** ***, COThe morning of the move we called *** at around 8:am to see if we could start earlier than the regular start time of 2:pm scheduled at their request so that we could get a jump on the big move
ahead of usThey told us that they hadn't had their coffee yet and that we could start around 11:am if we wanted. Upon arriving to the house in *** we did an initial walk through of the house as we do on all of our jobsThe first thing we noticed was that all of the packing the ***s agreed to do to prepare for the move was done in fruit boxes and worse yet, halves of fruit boxesThis was a big concern for usIn our experience, unsafe packing like this compromises the integrity of peoples personal items and ultimately results in damaged and broken goodsAfter explaining our concerns to the ***s, they explained that they understood our concernWe explained that in order to protect the integrity of their personal items, some packing was needed on our endWe explained to them that some additional costs would be included in the final moving total as a result of the need of additional services*** and *** both expressed that this was fair and agreed to provide payment for any additional services provided by Green Apple. After the agreement made between both parties, we were ready to get startedWe spent the entirety of the day packing and preparing furniture for the drive up to *** ***In addition we loaded the majority of the ***s furniture and personal items on to our truckThere was, however, some additional packing and loading that needed to carry over to the next day as a result of the extra packing we needed to do; a minor set-back in our original plansThe ***s explained to us that they wanted to leave for *** *** before we were done loading the truck on the 15th of May and asked us to lock up the house in *** when we were doneWe happily agreed to their request, as this is not unfamiliar to us as professionals. As we reached the end of our second day there were a few more minor concernsA few items were still in the garage that weren't included in the original itemized inventory list that we base part of our estimated moving price onTo avvoid further complications we decided to take as much of the additional items as we could fit on the truck without requiring further costsHowever there were a few items that we couldn't take(a few ceramic pots and a ceiling fan) that would have to be picked up by the ***s at a later dateBefore leaving *** we called *** to explain this to him and he told us he understood and that he would personally come down and pick up these items on his trip back to *** the next weekend. The remainder of the move went as smooth and cordial as we as professionals can expectThe entirety of the ***'s furniture and personal items was delivered safely without any damage to speak of, a goal that Green Apple strives for and a quality we take pride inIn addition to the total moving cost, Mr*** added $cash in gratuity for both myself and the driverAfter receiving the generous tip from *** I understood that our performance was satisfactory because, in my experience as a professional, unsatisfied customers don't tip, nor should they. In the end, I felt like all needs were metThe move ended in laughs and smiles amongst all involved, and no problems or concerns were voiced by either *** or *** ***We left *** *** with the understanding that the customer was happy and we provided a satisfactory service. Our solution, is to reimburse the ***s $in fuel cost to accommodate the drive needed to pick up the additional items left behind in *** PAUL F*GREEN APPLE MOVING LLC*** CELL***

Verbal Update:  Consumer is still waiting for the refund, it has not been received. When will the refund be received?

I will accept the  the $100.00 for the  gas mileage, for settlement.
