Review: THEY INITIALLY CAME WITH ALMOST THE SAME CONTRACT AS A PREVIOUS COMPANY AND ASSUMED IT WAS EXPALINED TO US AND IT WASN'T.

MY ATTIC IS THE ONLY SPACE I HAVE FOR STORAGE HAVING NO BASEMENT AND WHAT WASN'T EXPLAINED WAS HOW MUCH SPACE I WOULD LOOSE

WHEN THEY PUT UP BARRIERS AND LOOSE INSULATION ON BOTH SIDES OF MY ATTIC. THERE EXCUSE WAS I THOUGHT YOU KNEW THIS BY THE

SQUARE FOOTAGE. FINAL OUTCOME IS I LOST ALOT OF ATTIC SPACE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF EXPLAINED PROPERLY AND PROFESSIONALLY.

I WOULD HAVE PAID MORE FOR PLYWOOD AND INSULATION BLOWN IN UNDERNEATH BUT ASSUMING I KNEW THERE JOB IT WASN'T EXPLAINED.

AFTER TALKING TO THEM MULTIPLE TIMES AND GETTING NO WHERE. THEY ACTUAL MAKE IT SEEM LIKE I HAVE SO MUCH ATTIC SPACE AND MORE FOR

STORING AS THE ROOM I HAD I DON'T ANYMORE FOR THE ONLY STORAGE I HAVE....AT THE END I WOULDN;T SIGN PAPERS FOR A LOAN AND I WAS

THREATENED WITH A LIEN ON MY HOUSE AND IT WAS BY CHOICE OF PAYMENT WITHER AS THEY CLAIM. THE LIGHTING IN MY DEN I ASKED TO HAVE

EQUALI TO WHAT I HAVE. WHEN FIRST CHANGED IT WASN'T AND AGAIN I WAS TOLD THIS ONE DIDN'T KNOW THAT SO THEY HAD TO CHANGE THAT TOO.

THEY CLAIM THEY TRIED TO GET TOGETHER WITH ME AN RESOLVE THIS AND THAT ISN'T TRUE BECUASE I WORK A JOB WITH HOURS AND GAVE THEM THOSE HOURS TO ARRANGE AROUND BUT IT WASN'T SUITABLE FOR THEM. EXCUSES IS WHAT THEY ARE GOOD AT AND MAKING THEMSELVES LOOK GOOD.

DON'T LET IT FOOL YOU. HAVE AN ATTORNEY READ THE CONTRACT AND GET FULL EXPLANATION ON WHAT THEY ARE DOIND BEFORE THEY START.

ASK ABOUT SPACE BEING LOST AND WALLS BEING PUT UP WITH LOOSE INSULATION. AND AFTER ALL THE I STILL HAVE DRAFTS IN MY ROOMS.....Desired Settlement: REPLACE THE WALLS WITH PLYWOOD ON THE FLOOR AND INSULATION BLOWN IN UNDERNEATH IT.

We are scheduled to go to the customer's house on Monday 5/** to rectify the situation.

Review: After signing on with Green Audit in APRIL 2013 for having my house insulated, and converting to natural gas for my home and stove, I didn't realize that everything [redacted] and I agreed on wasn't included in my written contract. I paid for these services. My hall closet was not insulated like was explained "-just unclipping vinyl siding and shooting in insulation, and adding something into the soffits outside my dining room window to prevent the draft". I virtually paid $5000.00 to have my attic insulated. I was instructed to order a conversion kit to change my stove to gas from propane. The job was to be completed "by the end of July". I was told National Grid was behind schedule. No problem not their fault, National Grid ran the line in September I believe and stated that no line would ever be run in only 3 months. Well the conversion took place the 2nd week in November by [redacted], whom Green Audit contracted. As for my stove, a rep from [redacted] came today to "hook it up" and told me that " gas will be run to the stove, but you can't cook-we don't install those kits, you have to hire someone for that" I called Green Audit, spoke to [redacted] and his [redacted] who claimed they new nothing about a stove hook up as it is not written in the contract (Then why would [redacted] run a line?). When I spoke to [redacted] from [redacted] who I had many conversations with regarding the stove, she acted as if she had no idea what I was talking about, they don't convert stoves. Why would I have gas hooked up to a stove that cannot be used?! I specifically used the phrase "soup to nuts, how much will this cost?" I paid a total of $13,188for this job. VERY disappointed with the final outcome considering Grren Audit was PAID IN FULL as per my letter from EFS. I was also told my payments would be $50.00 per month for 15 years and I'm being billed $60.40 monthly.Desired Settlement: Finish the job.

During the discussion phase of the project, we will typically discuss many options with the homeowner. As we reach initial agreement on a project we put together a detailed work scope and review this with the customer prior to signing the contract. This is intended to clarify what is actually contracted for vs. what might have been discussed at some point. The work scope that [redacted] signed off on did not include the stove conversion. Ultimately, our subcontractor did the stove conversion and [redacted] will not need to pay for it.

Certainly, there were a number of frustrations regarding the gas conversion that caused the final installation date of the gas system to be substantially delayed from the initial timeline. National Grid took months longer to run the line than they initially forecast. We have revised our expectations to customers and apologize to [redacted] for the delay.

While the overall process was bumpier than we like, and certainly bumpier than is typical, we are confident that over time she appreciate the improved comfort of her home and the drastically reduced cost of heating and cooling it.
