The Noble's dropped off their camper on 6/14/to begin an RO that included job linesIt was in our shop within hours and was actively being worked on for the next days Mrs [redacted] was informed well before hand that there may be odds and end parts that need to be ordered once we get through the repair listOne of those items are "feet" for the side patio The side deck is strapped down because we didn't want further damage to happen when opening RCD was under the impression they were leaving the camper here until all items were fixed or we would have made arrangements for the patio to be used while we were waiting for parts As for getting the parts in stock, RCD cannot control how long that takes We are at the mercy of the manufacturer on when those are available I can tell you that we will get them here and always do as soon as we possible can It does us no good for campers to be sitting here un-usedFor job lines to get diagnosed, parts ordered, parts in stock, and repaired in less than a week is impossible in our industry We have done everything possible for these customers to this point It is all warranty work and we need to be reasonable on time expectations

RCD RV attempted to contact the customer on Thursday January 5th 2017, We left him a message and he did not return the callWe called again called him Friday January 6th to try to resolve his complaint, we left another message and he has not called us backWe emailed him Saturday January 7th and as of today Tuesday January 10th, he has not communicated back with RCD RV

Mrs [redacted] ,I am sorry that you did not enjoy your ownership with us The notices from [redacted] were related to the foreclosure of your property I am truly sorry that we were not able to assist you in getting up-to-date on your payments prior to the foreclosure In looking back at your account I do see where we responded to two complaints that you filed with our office in regard to your purchase in both of those correspondences we offered to assist you in getting a reservation to use the property that you purchased We also stressed the importance of meeting your ownership obligations as they pertained to your timeshare We do truly want to keep all of our owners happy and we are sorry for the unfortunate outcome in this instance Unfortunately as you failed to uphold your obligations pertaining to the contract we are unable to offer any form of compensation other than to offer our sincere apologies for the outcome.Best wishes, [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My request for cancelation was well before 30days My daughters names were placed on the contract only to use the resort when I was not going to be around One daughter was in the car and told she had to come in and sign My daughter that was in the car never signed some of the forms She only signed when we were in the office with Mr [redacted] and he never explained to her what was going on We were lied too and forced to sign that contract You bring people in and mislead them into believing that they need to do this and once they think about it after leaving you they are unable to cancel the contract You never charged my daughters any money You told them that their names had to be on the contract to be able to use the resort and that is the only reason they signed We are getting a petition started with over a hundred people who said the were defrauded in the same way Once they receive their Revdex.com ID Number we will take this to court Your actions are nothing short of criminal Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [First, Revdex.com thank you so much for your assistanceThis is the first time I have had Great Eastern Resorts reply to any of my inquiriesUnfortunately, they have not been very forthright in their response to the Revdex.com Secondly, I have contacted them on multiple occasions via letters and phone calls dating back to to no availI have attached copies of the multiple attempts to contact them with my situation to try to find some resolveAdditionally, I updated my phone numbers and provided my email address to them to ensure we had a way of communicationThis is evident in my letter dated May 1, I have other letters written in and that I will get from an older laptop I used at the time, the power supply is bad but I'm certain I can remove the letters from the hard drive to dispel any myth that I haven't tried to contact them many times to get copies of my contract they failed to return along my attempts to cancel my contract within hours of signing Lastly, The only resolution is to honor my initial cancellation delivered in person to their sales center at the Massanutten ResortThis cancellation request was made within hours of signing which is well within the days allowed by Virginia LawI'm an honorable man that has served this nation for years as a member of our Armed Forces in multiple war and combat actions, I'm not just someone trying to get out of a commitmentI am merely trying right a wrong done to me and my family by Great Eastern ResortsI tried to cancel but fell victim to some pretty hard sales tactics that have proven beyond beliefI request that they do the honorable thing and release me from this contractIf they won't using the BB route then I will use a different venue to seek the desired result So they have my numbers again, Cell: ( [redacted] , Work: ( [redacted] .] Regards, [redacted]

Spoke with the General Manager of RCD over the phone and he is refunding my $deposit

Mrs [redacted] came to RCD on 3/asking that we purchase her fifth wheel She gave me a long story about her situation stating that everything needed to be done today as she was heading back to Wisconsin in the morning Typically things can't happen that fast but I decided to try and help her out taking myself out of a busy Saturday for sales I went through a brief appraisal and she stated that the only thing wrong with the camper was a spot in the carpet around the cat litter box that needed to be cleaned I then made her an offer pending my inspection and she accepted We set up a time later that day for me to look at the camper with her After inspecting the camper I still stuck to my original offer with the agreement that all the trash would be cleaned out even though it was NOTHING as she had described We did sign paperwork at that time to make it convenient for her since she was traveling home the next day On Monday 3/I went to pick up the camper as agreed and when I got there people were still cleaning it out I did not stop at that time and gave them the benefit of the doubt that they just needed a little more time to get everything out This is where Mrs [redacted] is highly confused because I went back at 4:on 3/to pick it up After going through it and seeing every cupboard and storage area still full of their trash I went back to the dealership to call Mrs*** She apologized that it was not cleaned out and was going to send her daughter back out to finish and I would be able to pick it up in the morning On 3/27, I made my 3rd trip out to pick up the camper and it hadn't been touched from the day before At that point, I found it in RCD's best interest to send the title back to Mrs [redacted] and move on from the purchase When I called to inform her of that decision, she called me a liar and ended up hanging up on me Not once was Mrs [redacted] lied to I was trying to help her out and she was unable to hold up her end of a deal It was made clear to her that I was not buying a trash filled RV and that if she wanted me to purchase it would need to be cleaned out I did ask why she didn't call the dealer she purchased from, which is less than a mile down the road from us, and she had no answer This was a case of trying to help someone out and it coming back to bite them This deal would have been completed and Mrs [redacted] would have a check in hand if she would have only cleaned her mess and not put it on someone else to deal with We are not interested in purchasing a camper in that condition If I was low balling her as she stated, Mrs [redacted] will have no problem selling it to another buyer

Thank you for the opportunity to reply to Mr [redacted] rejection of our initial explanation as to why he was not qualified to participate in the promotional giveaway that he had signed up for The particular giveaway that you registered for does state in the terms and conditions that "Current Vacation Village Resorts owners...are not eligible to participate in this promotion."We truly value your ownership with us here at the resort and we often have opportunities for you to participate in during your stay at the resort, but unfortunately this particular program is aimed at gaining new owners and does not include our existing ones I would be happy to send you all of the details from the terms and conditions that were involved in the promotion that you signed up for if you would like.Again I apologize for any misunderstanding and we are looking forward to your next visit with us here at the resort.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Mrs [redacted] ,I have reviewed your account in our system and at this point we show that the purchase has been cancelled and the refund is being processed Per the contract documents this process can take up to forty five days, but I anticipate you would see a refund sooner than that I apologize for any inconvenience, but this will have to finish through the process as outlined and the funds will be returned to the [redacted] you used for the down payment If you do not have resolution please feel free to continue to cheon the status of the refund and I will be happy to update with as much information as I can.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Thank you for the opportunity to reply to the rejection from Ms [redacted] First, my apologies that all that came across in my last response was how to address your options for using your RCI points with RCI The purchase that you made upgraded your ownership from a Woodstone Meadows unit to our best property the Regal Vistas The ownership upgrade alone to a week Regal Vista is an improvement in your ownership here at the resort The Points option that you signed up for indicated that you would give RCI your week for the next three years in order to be a part of the points program If you choose to return to use the Regal Vista unit that you own you simply need to contact RCI thirteen months prior to the start of your week and you can request, free of charge, to make your home week reservation At the end of your three year experience in the points program you can opt out of the points program through RCI and you would return to your week odd Regal Vista ownership I hope this offers more explanation as to the recent upgrade in your ownership and if you would like assistance making your next reservation please let me know and we would be more than happy to assist.Thanks [redacted] ***

Thank you very much for allowing us to reply to Ms [redacted] complaint.First we would like to congratulate you on your recent engagement and we hope that your special day will be memorable and last a lifetime As far as your complaint with regard to the free weekend that you were offered to come and visit the Resort it sounds like there is some confusion as to the rules of participation that you agreed to The participation does only require a minute presentation of the Resort which was covered in the terms and conditions that you agreed to on the entry form which we are required to have you sign prior to our office giving you a call for the weekend offer There is no hour presentation requirement so we are unsure who sent the email you are referencing Upon completion of the presentation you would absolutely receive the full refund of the $deposit that you put down to participate in the weekend giveaway We also have no record on file of where you have contacted our office to attempt to resolve your complaint prior to filing your complaint with the Revdex.com We are more than willing to reschedule your appointment in order for you to complete your portion of the agreement and receive your deposit back We have thousands of customers who participate in this program each year and we would love to show you all that our Resort has to offer.Thanks again for the opportunity to clear up any misunderstanding and if I can be of any assistance in rescheduling your appointment please let me know [redacted] ***

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to Ms [redacted] complaint The purchase that she made through the resort was to trade her Woodstone Luxury week even and apply the equity for a Regal Vista week Odd unit The move from a Luxury unit to a Regal Vista week is a great purchase If she wants to reserve the unit and week that she owns she would need to call RCI and schedule her time months prior to her week and there is no fee for the home week reservation As for the RCI fees and how owners are able to use their points Ms [redacted] would have to address that with RCI which is a separate company The [redacted] can opt out of their points after the three year contract is up at which time they can resume using the week at Massanutten as they had in the past, which is still an option if they make their home week reservation If they would like we can have a closing officer give them a call to go over the details of their contract, which we feel is a substantial upgrade to their ownership Thanks again for allowing us to reply to the concern and we would like to make Ms [redacted] ownership work for her in any way that we can.Sincerely, [redacted] ***
