this company provides a significant number of barriers to cancelling and receiving a refundThey engage in shady business practices that take advantage of customersThey even acknowledge that they have had this feedback from over other costumers with similar complaintsTo top this off their product caused adverse side effects and their recommendation was to continue to take it for days to complete the evaluation and be eligible for a refund

I fell for the "free trial" and then, boom!, your credit card gets charged $out of the blue thing, like many othersI called this morning when I saw the chargeI was told it was clearly indicated in the terms and conditions (which I agreed to by checking a box) that I would be charged if I didn't contact them in daysnot indicated at all in the order confirmation email they sent (which also contained NO contact info for the company)I ordered online on 12/20/16, received the sample/trial product well after Christmas, and have been sick with bronchitis and haven't even opened or tried the sample product yetToday, on 1/4/17, I was charged $Even if it were my fault for not reading the terms and conditions correctly (I still think they are sneaky with that part, but can agree to disagree on this point), I don't understand why I can't just cancel? They offered to give me a partial refund and then I can call back on February 3rd to receive the other half of my refund, if I still want itI told them I wanted a complete refund and would send back the trial (unopened) and the product that I was just billed for but haven't received (without even opening the box)I was told it doesn't matter because they cannot reuse the product, apparentlyI have to call back on February 3rdnot a day sooner or later; even though I know right now that this is not a company I want to do business with and won't even be opening the productI've never in my life dealt with a company who would not give you your money back when you were dissatisfied, whatever the reasonThey haven't even shipped the product they charged me for yetThe sad thing is that I actually wanted to try the product, and if I liked it and it worked for me, I would have paid for it and recommended it to othersNow, I want nothing to do with this companyThe customer service rep I spoke with was not unkind (and I was pretty frustrated with the whole situation and, unfairly, let him know it)I don't want the product and asked for my money back the day I was charged, before even receiving the productIn addition to telling me this was my fault for not reading things more carefully, I can only get a partial refund and have to call back one month from now, on one set day, to get the rest of the money returnedThere was no other optionIncredibly disappointed with this company and how they handle thingsThey may be within the letter of the law, but they do not care about the customer experience

I signed up for the free sample bottle, unaware that I was being enrolled in a monthly plan. I would not have sent for the product had I understood this. I feel this is misleading. I was charged on my debit card and called to cancel. I was told that I would have to wait thirty days and take the product then call and get my money back on something referred to as an "open bottle guarantee" . I told the customer rep, [redacted], that I did not want the product and I wanted a refund.He said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get my money back because a decision had to be made by some team. I told him I would return the product unopened, I just wanted my money back and he refused. He said I could get half of my money back. This is ludicrous! I feel that this has all been very deceptive.

Leptigen promised me a free 15 day sample of their product for simply paying shipping and handling costs, which I paid. Before I was ever even able to sample the product, I received a full 30 day supply of pills in the mail, which I NEVER ordered. I called to ask about why it was shipped and they notified me that they charged me 89.95 for the bottle because I didn't cancel within 15 days. They claim this was "stated in the terms & conditions" but it never was. I carefully look for any terms requiring you to opt-out of a membership (as this has become the new norm in consumer products) and I never saw ANYTHING. There was no email confirmation which included these terms. What a dirty scam! They won't refund me my full amount unless I call in a month and say the product didn't work. Such a scheme.
