This is a copy of the voucher from [redacted].  The person I spoke to at Green Clean made it clear that they would make it an "endless paperwork nightmare" if I filed a complaint.  Here is all the information on the voucher.  Order Receipt (This is not your voucher) Order Number: [redacted] Purchased on: 5/20/2014 Order Summary: Carpet Steam Cleaning for up to 1,000 Square Feet Green Clean Choice Sold by Green Clean Choice Quantity: 1 Price: x $59.00 Subtotal: $59.00 Total: $59.00 Refunds: Refund Date: 7/7/2014 Quantity: 1 Refund Total: $59.00 Billing Address: Kirsten Gagnaire4610 ELLICOTT ST NWWASHINGTON, DC 20016-4051 Payment Method: VisaLast 4 Digits: 0013Name: Kirsten L Gagnaire

Review: In response to my purchasing an [redacted] voucher for $39 for air duct cleaning, I was told that there was mold in my system and that my house was much larger than what would be covered under the voucher. Without knowing exactly what the technician would be doing, I agreed to pay $600 with a credit card thinking there would be some protection there. Green Clean Choice, [redacted] and my [redacted] have all ignored my complaint that I was scammed.Desired Settlement: When trying to recoup anything from Green Clean Choice, I offered to accept half the amount I paid which would be $300. Since all this took place, I have read many blogs and even posted my review on [redacted]. It seems there are a tremendous number of people who have also fallen for this "bait and switch." My contract has no signature where I should have signed and the initials indicating satisfactoy work are not mine.

Review: After purchasing a discounted duct cleaning service from this company on [redacted], I had trouble getting a technician to come when they said they would. When they finally arrived, they told me that the coupon for the "whole house cleaning" would only cover a single duct, and attempted to charge me $525 for the entire job. I said no, they immediately dropped it to $400, and then spent about an hour supposedly cleaning the ducts. The air flow in my house immediately dropped by 80 percent. It was the middle of winter (and incidentally, a week before the birth of my baby), and the house could barely maintain 55 degrees. After many calls, the technician returned twice to check if something was wrong with the system. The company also eventually sent out an "official certified HVAC technician" who worked with them to check on the system when I kept complaining. He charged us two separate times for additional services on top of the $400, adding up to a total of over $600 paid out to the company by this time, not to mention the astronomical heating bills we had to pay because our system was running 24/7. Throughout this period, we continued trying to work with the company because we didn't want to lose additional money calling out someone else to fix what they had broken.

Meanwhile, the system continued not to be able to maintain its temperature, and we struggled to keep our newborn baby, who was born with compromised lung function, warm and healthy.

When the weather warmed and we switched from heat to A/C, air flow remained a problem, so we finally called an independent HVAC contractor. He immediately discovered that the A-coil in the system was blanketed in animal hair and dust that had been dislodged during the winter "cleaning", thus making it almost impossible for air to pass through the system. When this was removed, air flow jumped back up to 100 percent. We documented the matter on the A-coil with a camera and have been pursuing a refund with Green Clean Choice ever since.

After many, many calls and emails (and a full 8 months after the service was done), I finally received a check for $250 from the company (this was in August). When I tried to deposit it two weeks ago, it bounced. This was the last straw, and with no other recourse, I decided to file a formal complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: A full refund of the original $400 service fee, along with the $200 we paid to the company's "HVAC specialist". We'll have to eat the cost of the real HVAC technician and the heating bills.

Review: I purchased an [redacted] deal for carpet cleaning for a home I was moving out of. I had it scheduled and waited for the first appt. The person was running several hours late and I had to leave. Since the home was empty, I spoke with the person dispatched to clean the carpets and told him he could enter the empty house the following day. We discussed further stain removal and stairs and he charged my credit card an additional $75. I was leaving the country and he sent me a text and left a voicemail indicating that he had completed the work and removed all stains. I asked a friend to enter the home to confirm. She indicated the carpets had not been cleaned at all. I called the company, who scheduled a time for another person to come clean. My landlord waited for 4 hours and no one showed. I called today to ask for my money back. I was transferred to a "manager" who immediately became rude and belligerent. He indicated they would under no circumstances return my money, he never apologized or indicated wrongdoing. When I said I would report this to the Revdex.com and Attorney's General offices, he told me to go ahead and that if I tried to report it as fraud to my credit card he would ensure that it became "an endless paper trail". Pure fraud. I asked for his name and he said Mike B[redacted]. I asked for a senior manager or owner and he refused to put anyone else on the line. The total refund due is the $59 [redacted] coupon plus the $75 billed by the first cleaner with confirmation #[redacted] on June 25, with written confirmation that also included noting that he had removed all stains and locked the front door when he had never been there.Desired Settlement: Refund of the full amount and this company not allowed to do business.
