Communications and timelines stated in this complaint do not matchour records.  System installation was completed on September 14.  We were unaware of any issues until customer telephoned ouroffice on Monday September 21 requesting service.   At that time...

wescheduled a service visit for Monday September 28th.   Monday is the earliest day that we are able to meet during normal business hours. The pool pump is also used for pool cleaning and filtration, solar will only operate during sun hours.  The complete system will be inspected and schedules setaccording to customer preference on Monday, We will also provide Homeowners  athorough walk through and explanation on the operation of their new solar system and digitalcontroller. We will do our best to resolve all their concerns and answerall their questions on our next visit.

We have been waiting and saving up for this. All of our questions were answered and they exceeded our expectations. I would tell all of my friends and family to use Heliocol. Amazing job!

Mr. [redacted]s solar pool heating system was scheduled and completed on 7-11-13. Mr. [redacted] is satisfied with the installation and is paid in full.

We had a solar pool system installed in February 2011 we have been very happy with our system and its performance.

we had a small leak in spring 2013 but thankfully it was covered by their warranty.

one of our neighbors also has now installed a system I hope they are as happy as us.

Review: We purchased a solar heat system from HelioCol West. At the current time, it is not working properly and they say it is.

First of all, the pump to move water through the coils turns on at 4:00 am. How bright is the sun at 4:00 am? They say the system is working correctly.

We have a spa/pool combination that used to circulate water between the two to filter the water. Three days after they installed their system, the spa turned green with algae. They say the system was working fine when they left the job site.

We tried to use the pool this weekend. The temperature here was 96 and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The pool was very cold. But they say it is operating correctly.

We asked them to come out and check the system, and they told us that they weren't going to have anybody in our area for somewhere between 2 and 4 weeks.Desired Settlement: We need someone to come out and show us how to operate the system so it is working properly.

Review: At the end of March 2013 I contracted with [redacted] for a solar pool heater, solar hot water heater and a solar electric system. 1/2 down payment was required at that time for each of the systems and the other 1/2 upon completion of the installation of each system. The pool solar & solar hot water system were completed in a timely manner & the final payments made. The solar electric was not installed until 6/7/13 and the final $8,000.00 was paid to them on that date. On 6/7/13, I asked where the building permit for the system was, as it was needed to schedule a county final inspection for the project. I was told by the installer that he forgot to bring it, but someone would bring it to the house within the next couple of days. After a week with no permit, I began calling. I then found out they did not have the permit yet (even after it was already built). I also found out their building permit application was rejected. I then found out it was finally approved & issued on 7/15/13. I had to continue to push them to get the county final inspection. The county's final inspection was not done until 7/24/13. After the county's final inspection, it is required that [redacted] has to inspect the system before it can become functional. I learned on my own that [redacted] had rejected their approval on 8/6/13. I called the company to inform them of this and again express how unhappy I was with their constant delays and excuses. Today, 8/13,13, I again called the company and was told that [redacted] was the person that was working on my issue, but [redacted] was off because of a surgery. They could not tell me when or if [redacted] would get the issues with my system resolved so I could get the system activated and begin using it. They are very poor about calling me or keeping me informed of any progress. I continually have to call them and never get any answers. After this last call, I told them that I was going to have to resort to a lawsuit since they are not resolving this issue. After the last phone call, I then thought of filing this complaint with Revdex.com to see if this could get them going, short of me having to file the lawsuit.Desired Settlement: Get the proper approvals for the system, get it activated so I can use it and keep me informed.
