Green Family Materials

Failure to complete contracted issues. I contracted with Green Family Materials (GFM) to provide me with approximately 620 sq ft of heart pine flooring, 12 stair treads and 20 feet of landing tread. I sent GFM a check for 50% of the 4,807.30 total cost of the flooring on quotation number 1034 dated 2/3/15. I was told over the phone the job to process the flooring would be approximately five weeks. After five weeks I telephoned the company office and had to leave a message due to no answer on the phone. The phone call was made on 4/16/15. I called again on 4/17/15 with no response from GFM. I sent an e-mail on 4/20/15 to inquire about my order. I received an e-mail back from [redacted] with GFM on 4/21/15 saying she would check on my order and get back to me. She also said she had been out of the office for a week. I called the office again on 4/24/15 with no answer. I would like to receive some information on my order. Desired SettlementI would either like a refund or information on my order.Business Response We have issued a refund to above customer. We are sorry we could not fulfill the order in a timely manner. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I did receive the 50% deposit which I sent to Green Family Materials (GFM) when I ordered the flooring material. What I have NOT received is any communication on why my order was not filled. Which has now put me 14 weeks behind schedule on the construction of my house. I waited the five weeks GFM estimated for delivery and when I tried to make contact by telephone and e-mail I received no response. I only found out I was going to receive a refund when a friend of mine and former costumer of GFM made contact on my behalf and was told a refund check was going to be issued. This type of costumer service is totally unacceptable.
