Review: I dropped off a load of laundry for wash and fold service. This was the first time using this place. When I got my clothing back, all of my bras (four of them) were missing. The [redacted] offered to call me if they turned up and after not hearing from her for several days I went back to follow up. She again asked me for a couple more days and inquired about the cost of the bras. Each of these bras originally cost $36, which adds up to $144. After telling her the value and the age of the items, she refused to pay the full replacement value. She began haggling with me and claiming that since the items were more than 2-3 months old, they were only responsible for half the value at most. What was worse, was that she accused me of lying and trying to rip them off for the cost of four bras.I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I even gave them time to try and resolve the problem. Not once did this company follow up with me, despite their mistake. I had to call them and show up at their business several time to try and get some kind of resolution. After going back a third time and arguing with me about this, she begrudgingly gave me half the replacement value, $70.Desired Settlement: Ideally, I would like to be reimbursed for the remaining replacement value - $74 cash. I specify cash because I do not want to be stuck with a store credit. I never want to bring my clothing there again. It feels petty asking for more money. But at the end of the day $74 is a lot and I shouldn't have to pay to replace my own things because of someone's inability to do their job. At the very least I just want this incident to go on record.
