On placing my order I made it clear to the seller that she should ship to a different address than my [redacted] address and she agreed this would work. I then provided her with the correct address but have not received my package. I have email documentation of all of this. The item is now severely overdue for the intended use and despite your promises to retrieve the item and/or create a new one this has not occurred and now she has stopped responding to my non- [redacted] based communications. The client had requested me to change the shipping address prior to shipping, but the address change was not able to be processed through [redacted], so a shipping label was generated with the original address. I was assured by the client that he had a current mail forwarding request in place, but I asked him to call the [redacted] at his old address to be sure to look for the package. Apparently this advice, nor any of my other since the package has gone MIA, has been taken. In fact, Dr. [redacted] jumped the gun by a mile by trying to file an insurance claim for a package that tracks as delivered. Perhaps angering the powers that be at the [redacted]? I have had the utmost pleasure of a recent phone conversation with Dr. [redacted], in which I tried to express my desire to rectify this dilemma, beginning with a renewed effort to find the original package (I have some contacts at the PO.) Failing that, I WAS still willing to re-do the order and eat the cost myself because I dislike dissatisfied customers. However, Dr. [redacted] would have none of that, and the conversation quickly deteriorated into false accusations and name-calling. (If I wanted that, I would get married again :) I am still trying to find the missing package, on my own time! If it is still intact, somewhere in Chicago, it is the [redacted]s job to deliver it to him IF we can find a record of a valid forwarding request for the date shipped, IF the package is proven missing, AND a valid forward can be ascertained for that date, THEN I can file an insurance claim, and would gladly refund the payment. So everything hinges on proving proof of the forwarding. I would recommend that Dr.[redacted] try to contact the [redacted] at his old address, instead of trying to [redacted] harassing comments on my website. I dont know how she thinks the [redacted] works in Chicago, but more than one package comes through chicago and the only information that I can get from them is what is available online which is that they have it registered as delivered (at a different address than the one I proved to green heron glass)8 "instead of trying to [redacted] harassing comments on my website"I [redacted]ed a well deserved negative review which in another act of dishonesty the merchant has refused to [redacted].9.. I have no idea what this is all about.In summary:I gave her the right addressshe sent the package to the wrong addressI had active mail forwarding (and have told her this several times) I have seen no evidence of any attempt by the seller to make this right over several monthsHer promises are the same she made several months ago and based on her past efforts I would be pleasantly surprised if she followed through on them at this time. I don't think the same promises she has been making for months are a satisfactory conclusion to this complaint
