Review: Landscaping workers who are working in our neighbor's yard repeatedly park in front of our house, blocking a public fire hydrant, and often blocking our driveway or entering our property or driveway in order to unload their lawnmowers and equipment. They should park in front of the house they are working at. Despite repeated requests made politely to both to the landscaping workers themselves and to the office and management, the workers continue to do this.Desired Settlement: We would appreciate if the workers would not park in front of our property or driveway, block the fire hydrant, or enter our property.

Review: Green Hill Landscaping used sloppy and inattentive workmanship when providing lawn mowing services at my property. Over a month ago, I saw dirt flying up from the weed wacker of one of the crew members for some time. This caused some concern, and when I looked, I noticed that the edging was removing excessive grass, to the point where a 3 to 4 inch strip of dirt existed where grass used to be. On this visit, they left quickly, before I could raise the issue. The next visit, I intercepted the foreman and raised the issue and pointed out the problem. He seemed unable to fully understand me (his English was very poor). I later raised the issue with management via email when it appeared that they were continuing similar practices and continuing to edge the grass so poorly. The initial management response was to suggest that they would talk to the crew and immediately fire any crew members the next time an issue occurred. I never heard anything more from this member of management. Soon thereafter, someone different emailed me with photos of my home suggesting that things looked good but that I should probably use some more services such as aeration. I responded to this individual explaining my concerns about the inattention to my problem and that firing their workforce was not a substitute for quality, nor would it fix the damage caused to my lawn. I heard nothing for several days and then the President and owner of Green Hill, Keith, began an email exchange with me that was a mix of out of touch, tone deaf, disregard, denial, and as much as anything, attempt to up-sell new services and strangely place the blame on me or the lawn. He would only engage in discussion of the fix if it involved me paying for new services. There was no offer to fix the damage, despite acknowledging that the dirt strip where my grass used to be was a problem. There was no discussion of alternative remediation if repair/fix was not possible. His only suggestion, aside from paying more for new services, was to just top edging for a while. No seed, no other attempt at finding a solution, no credit, no discounting, no attempt to engage as a concerned business owner who has wronged a customer, damaged their property, and needs to earn the customer's trust and business back. For now I have informed Green Hill that I have stop payment as a result of the dispute and lack of engagement on remedy on their part.Desired Settlement: Sod and/or seed the affected and surrounding areas to restore grass where edging damage occurred. Written commitment to repair damage and follow through with sufficient services, even if repeat services necessary, to fix the damages to our property's lawn. Provide billing credit for outstanding services (i.e., officially zero the outstanding balance so that it is officially agreed as part of the remedy). Cease and desist excessive/damaging edging with all other customers.

Review: Green Hill mailed me two separate (but identical) "menus" of a significant number of their service options (mowing, fertilization, mulching, etc) in early spring. The advertising stated "Exclusively Prepared Professional Landscape Program for" my address and "Look Inside for more Top-Notch Services and Pricing!" Given the very specific pricing quoted, the professional look of the advertising, and most importantly no mention whatsoever that the prices were subject to change (based on further inspection, etc), I considered calling them given that the prices quoted were relatively good. I decided to call for their "Spring Cleanup & Mulching" offer for $825 - when I called, I indicated that I had already done the spring cleanup in the yard, but just needed someone to lay mulch. She indicated that someone would need to come out and look at the property, which I found a bit odd, but said ok because I was asking for something a little different than what they offered. I was figuring that the price would go to $500-600 given the lower amount of work required. On the contrary, they came back with a quote of $1,425 for both services and $1,100 just to lay mulch...about double what I was expecting and more than their original quote for both services. I have tried to resolve the matter with them but they are not interested in providing me a reasonable quote based on what they advertised, even though I said I would take the matter up with the Revdex.com for false advertising.Desired Settlement: Acknowledgement that they distributed false advertising and that they will cease and desist with such practices. If they wish to advertise in the future, they should be honest with their customers. Why bother quoting prices if they don't mean anything? Why not just say call for a quote?
