Green Kitchen

Menu states a Croissant is $2.35. I requested a slice of ham and cheese toasted on croissant to go. I get a receipt with a total Price: $7.50 scrawled on it. No itemization, no tax listed. When I asked why this is so expensive, he said "I don't make the prices." I said "You just made this price."

I go to check out. At the cash register, again I asked the cash register attendant "Why is this $7.50, if the croissant alone is only $2.35 in the menu?" In fact a roll with ham egg and cheese is only listed at $5.35.

I took a menu and pointed out the difference. Again, "I don't make the prices" Staff member from behind counter came up and snatched the bag from me and said "You don't have to pay for it" and walked off. He knew I'd caught him price gouging.

Rude. Disgusting. Ripoff.
