To Whom it May Concern:dam writing to you in regards to the letter received from your office dated Monday, January 26th, 2015 in subject of a consumer complaint filed on 01/12/2015 assigned ID # [redacted]. The Consumer did purchase a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback on 10/31/2014 AS-IS with NO...

WARRANTY. We do offer warranties through a third party Company, CARS Protection Plus, in which the consumer did purchase a 3 monthl 4500 mile service Contract. We accepted payment from the Consumer and she filled Out an application with Christopher Opalek for the service contract. Please note, Mr. Opalek sold the Consumer the service Contract to the Consumer, not the vehicle. In return, we then submitted the application along with payment to CARS Protection Plus on 11/25/2014, Attached, please see a receipt from the Hamlin Post Office providing proof that the application and payment was mailed via USPS. On 1/8/2015, The consumer called CARS Protection Plus to file a claim for a repair. The Company stated they did not have an application on file in Connection with her vehicle. The Consumer then began calling Christopher and myself numerous times daily, and even drove to my personal residence to knock on the door. She was harassing the both of us for days, as we tried to resolve the matter and find out why the application was never received. I spoke with the Consumer numerous times assuring her that was Working at the best of my ability trying to resolve the matter. She then decided to call my Real Estate Broker and harass him, stating that she was going to spread the Word around the community we live in not to deal with Genevieve [redacted], D[redacted]. [redacted] Real Estate, or Green Light Autos. On 01/20/2015, spoke with Jeff at CARS ProtectionPlus, whom stated they have not received the application from Green Light Autos, Inc., and thought it could have been lost in the mail. We have sold service contracts in the past, and never had any issues or Complaints. After finding this out, contacted the consumer and offered to have the Vehicle fixed at my expense, with my choice of mechanic, even though she acknowledged she purchased the vehicle AS-IS, NO WARRANTY. She respectfully declined and stated she wanted the vehicle repaired at her garage, or a full refund. Unfortunately, do not agree with the price her mechanic is asking for the repair, and my refund policy in which the consumer acknowledged on the Bill of Sale, does not offer a full refund. After speaking with the consumer again, she became very hostile and said she will just take the matter up in the Court of law. I truly wished to have resolved this matter, however, the consumer was not satisfied with my attempts.
