The Sportsplex Gym in Kaysville unexpectedly got bought out by Gold's GymThe only notice I got was a vague email a couple of days before the official turn over I had questions about the status of my account, but if I wanted any information at all, I had to hunt it down myself They made absolutely no effort in openly and formally notifying existing gym members of the changes about to take place or a contact person I never signed any paperwork with Gold's Gym's name on it, so why did I suddenly have a contract with them? They vaguely referenced a state law that supposedly lets them buy out a gym and take over everyone's contractsThey did not offer a solution that would make me want to continue as a customerIn fact, they did not even offer to match their current pricing or specials available to new customersThey had cancelled a lot of the group fitness classes, which was the reason I had signed up with Sportsplex initially So now I was paying more than new members an

I was a member of *** *** that went out of business a few days ago without warning their customersI have a Vasa Fitness (Gold's Gym) near my house, but I opted to join *** because I do not want to be a member of Gold's Gym as they have many records of lawsuits against them and general shady business practices that have directly adversely effect two relatives of mineNeedless to say I was more than upset to find out that they have purchased my accountI have my original contract with *** that states that they do in fact, have the ability to sell me contract when they go out of businessI have contacted *** headquarters and they are upset about the situation as the *** did not warn them or customers of the transitionWhen contacting Gold's gym, I have been given the run around and transferred repeatedly when trying to talk with a manager to cancel my membershipI was told this was not an optionUntil I fully read my contractWithin my contract it states, they may s

I never had a membership with the Kaysville Golds Gym, and yet they continue to attempt to charge, and bill me for one They got my information because I was thinking about maybe getting a memebership there, but I decided to join the golds Gym in Layton I paid my memebership in full for the Layton Gilds Gym and I was in good standing bunting I had to cancel due to a move Then I received a collections notice from the Kaysville location I called and addressed the issue with the Golds Gym accounting department and they said they had it all taken care of Then the new year started and the notices from the Kaysville Golds Gym started coming to me again The Layton Golds Gym manager informed me that the Kaysville location had been running a scam when it was Sportsplex, but now Golds Gym is responsible because even though I have no contract and no memebership - and the accounting manager said they resolved the issue and apologized - I'm continuing to receive notices that I owe them

I went in for my free training session on march 6th I explained to her I was having chest pain and she said it was probably just stress so I signed up for a personal training agreement that I was told I could cancel at anytimegot advice from my Dr and they told me they need to run tests because I could be experiencing something more than just stress related chest painI told her that when I requested my cancellationGolds gym has a business day Grace period to cancel I contacted the trainer less than hours later requesting a cancellation she failed to cancel my "agreement" I came In Monday March 12th manager said it's been business days and there's nothing they can doThis is ridiculous and unlawful I have text messages between her and I and she completely explains she was the one who screwed up and gave me information and it is her fault because she should be cancelled my agreement and she didn t do it but somehow theu still wont cancel it?

Sign up on a month free promotionAfter signing up was denied access to the gymAfter being unable to use facilities tried to cancel membership be was told that no membership existsNow I'm being billed for this non-existent membership and when I call to cancel the membership they refuse to help me and simply say I own them membership fees I signed up in Nov but had to move back to Idaho in Feb and informed them that I no longer lived near the facility but they still continue to bill me

I originally begun my contract with Retro Fitness as it was convenient for me since I worked next doorI started with them because they were offering a special for the first three months freeI work at the Revdex.com call center next doorWhen I signed the contact, I told the employee that I worked on mall property and I would like to also ensure I got my monthly discountI was told that I would not be able to do so, however the manager overheard, and promised me that she would ensure that after the months we're up, I would be charged the adjusted amount with the discount and she assured me the contract would be adjustedThe three months went by, and I had forgotten to update the card on file since I had gotten a new oneAround this time, I was informed that Gold's Gym had bought Retro, so I called the Kaysville Gold's Gym to update my payment informationI also was interested to see if I could possibly cancel my membership since I did not have any interest whatsoever for Gold's Gym

this gym advertised there is no cancel fees so I go to cancel and was told I would only be charged to find out I was charged double that I call to complain and instead of fixing what they did the charged me again so now I been triple charged and no managers contacted me back as I requested called back again the following day and still no refund and I guess no one knows what there doing or can fix what the done I did not authorize them to charge my account for the amounts they have done and certainly did not authorize them to charge me times in days
