Review: I worked with [redacted] on the progress he was making on a daily basis by checking with him and seeing what they did everyday when I got back from work. on the last day when it was time to give him the final check, I asked him about a certain section he was supposed to grade/sloe right so water doesn't flood and he said it was done right and he took care of it.then he gets all offensive and says he doesn't have time to talk, he wanted his money and needs to leave. so I kindly asked him to come back when he had time to talk then I would pay him. then he flips off and starts saying he never spends time talking with customers, it wasn't his job. I was surprised by his attitude, and his attitude hints to me that he didn't do all the work the way I asked him.I asked him if I was doing anything wrong or illegal to ask about his work done in my backyard then he says "actually yes, it is illegal" and "you don't have the right to ask me"...I had to laugh out at this point!!!!!he completely got it wrong. it is my right to ask about the work quality and the work being done if I'm paying for it. he argues blah blah blah. then I show him the area I already asked him to fix twice, because the first time he said he graded it the way I told him. well I spray some water and it floods. then he claims that its not doable in any other way. so now he is changing his words from "i fixed it" to "there's no other way to fix it".great!he argues and says its not his job to provide customer service, or warranty work, or anything on the job he did.he leaves with an attitude. also he took a bucket from my backyard that I asked him to bring back and he never did. its not the price of the bucket, but its principle. you don't steel from peoples backyards any tools, or leave waste.I was very kind to him through out the whole project. there is no reason for him to flip out on me like that. this only shows me that he knew he was wrong and tried to flee with the check before I catch it. I paid for an incomplete job.Desired Settlement: Either come fix what you said you were supposed to do, or refund the cost for me to get someone else to fix it.I attached a picture showing how it floods from just 10 seconds or spraying water with the garden hose after he said that he graded/leveled it and it wouldnt cause a problem anymore.I explained to him how to would be a lot worse if it rained. he agreed to fix it.on the last day he said he resolved it and it should be ok. I sprayed water in front of him again and it floods again.
