I purchased my first car on June 4, 2015 from Auto Point and immediately I started having problems with it, I took the car back to Auto Point (the place I purchased it from) on June 8, 2015 and they told me they couldn't take the car back until my permanent tags came in. When my 30-day tags expired on July 4th the dealer issued me an illegal dealer tag. Now its been exactly 47 days (as of July 17, 2015) and the dealership still hasn't turned in the paper work to the DMV's office, now I don't have a car to drive and I am missing work because of there negligence.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like for them to refund me my money and take there car back.Business Response Mr. [redacted] did purchase a [redacted] from us on June 4th, 2015. After obtaining the loan via [redacted], we had to schedule a time for his mother to endorse the paperwork in order to turn into DMV as normal protocol states. This process took a few extra days due to his mothers occupation and distance his mother resided from the dealerships location. The paperwork was then turned into the DMV and was held there for three days before we received a phone call stating that a previous dealership ([redacted]) had reassigned the title but with an error in their paperwork. With the help of DMV they were able to contact the dealership ([redacted]) and took two weeks to correct the reassignment. DMV officers had been notified and met with us assuring us that this mistake was not the fault of Autopoint but was an error from a previous dealer. Mr. [redacted] was given a great discount on the vehicle of close to four thousand dollars to assure that his payment was within his allotted budget and was provided a 3 month warranty. Mr. [redacted] was instructed that if an issue did arise with his vehicle that he could utilize the warranty given at any accredited automobile repair facility. Mr. [redacted] was also provided a loaner vehicle from Autopoint so he could resume his normal daily activities during this dilemma. The title has been corrected and the official tags have been issued to Mr. [redacted]. We do apologize for the inconvenience due to the lack of proper reassignment on behalf of [redacted] and hope that Mr. [redacted] is satisfied.
