Green Pro Cleaning & Restoration

Beware of Green Pro cleaning and restoration. They advertise a $9 per duct service. When they came to my home the service tech opened my ducts and expressed concern about mold and pet dander clogging my ducts. He then took a swab from the duct and told me I had a massive amount of mold that could cause respiratory problems for myself and my children. I have two toddlers so of course I was nervous. He told me I really needed a to sanitize the ducts and needed an antibacterial decontamination as well. Well long story short the $9 per duct cleaning turned into a $1,500 job for a 1600 square foot home. The guy was here for two hours total. So what generates the cost here? Labor? Supplies? I checked this out with other companies after the fact and they told me this service should have cost no more than $500 for the entire job. I know there is nothing I can do about it now but I wanted to warn others about this company. Stay away from them. It's a classic case of bait and switch.
