Complaint # [redacted] Regarding this complaint from MsM***, let us begin with the fact that there is no way that we would know the age of the client, and the client is informed during the conformation that the technician will come and do a basic cleaning of the air ducts and a free inspection of his furnace, air ducts, attic and any crawl spaces that there may beIf the office feels like the client is older, the client is asked if they will have a child or someone with them to help them out while the technician is there The basic duct cleaning is explained to every client during the conformation call as follows, the basic cleaning consists of hooking up the HVAC to the main duct system which starts at the furnace, this is where they will be cleaning out the ducts from, the technician will then do the inspection of the furnace, ducts, attic and crawl spaces, if he finds that you need any additional work, he will give you a quote for that and that quote is good for months That is the conformation call to all clientsThe dispatcher in the office explains the process prior to booking the appointment, that way the client understands that there may be an up-sale during the inspection process No one is under any obligation to agree to any saleIf MsM [redacted] would have called the office and informed us of the problem she had with our company, we would have handled the matter to both of our satisfaction, it is unnecessary to complain to the Revdex.com prior to informing the company of any issues Sincerely Green Quality Air

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI do, however, disagree with the company's statement that an estimate would be given for additional work. I was only given the $quote over the phone and the $price for the service that was going to be performed that day. Sincerely, *** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The techinician did not do any cleaningAs stated in their response, they told me they would complete a basic cleaningThey cleaned NOTHINGI need nothing from them, I just want to warn any possible future customers not to waste their time.Sincerely,*** ***

The client in question did contact the office after the job was completed to complain that she felt that she paid too much for the work that was done in her home. During the initial phone interview the client is informed of the procedure for the duct cleaning and the inspection that is
performed by the technician, clients are also informed that if additional work is needed that an estimate will be given that is good for a month period, the client is under no obligation to have any additional work done in their home. However, this client did agree to have the work done by the technician and after he had left decided she paid too muchThe technician did agree to give a refund and sent it off via mailI assume that the check did not arrive to the clients addressPlease see attached the refund for the client and the mailing informationGreen Quality Air is assuming that this issue is resolved to the clients satisfaction

The basic duct cleaning is explained to...

every client during the conformation call as follows, the basic cleaning consists of hooking up the HVAC to the main duct system which starts at the furnace, this is where they will be cleaning out the ducts from, the technician will then do the inspection of the furnace, ducts, attic and crawl spaces, if he finds that you need any additional work, he will give you a quote for that and that quote is good for 6 months.
That is the conformation call to all clients. The dispatcher in the office explains the process prior to booking the appointment, that way the client understands that there may be an up-sale during the inspection process.
No one is under any obligation to agree to any sale.
Mr. [redacted] is complaining about the up sale and the basic cleaning that he agreed to, he also complained about the caked on dirt in his duct system, the negative pressure will only pull out loose dirt, the caked on dirt needs to be cleaned with brushes which would be a deep cleaning, Mr. [redacted] did not agree to this cleaning, therefore his ducts are still dirty.
The work was completed that he agree to at his home and he paid the $43.12 to the technician then turned around and cancelled the check and opened up a complaint against the technician which is truly unfair, the work was completed as promised. The technician drove to his house to do work for free basically, and have this harassment against him.
As stated before, each client is informed of the process prior to the visit and informed of the possible up-sale if deemed necessary, I see no valid reason for this complaint especially after he decided not to pay or have the proper cleaning done to his system.
