Since we moved into our home years ago, we've been wanting to remodel our dark, enclosed kitchen with limited counter spaceWe went through the process of having several contractors come into our home to give estimates of an extensive remodel - breaking down a wall, installing new cabinetry, laying hardwood flooring, new countertops etcGreen Remodeling & Beyond came in with a very competitive offer and an exquisite design complete with a raised ceiling, skylight and other features that we didn't even think of to improve the value of our homeThey truly heard our needs and ran with it
We also threw in new tile flooring in the bathrooms and countertops because we were so pleased with their servicesI could go on and on about this company - highly recommend for a home remodel!

Green remodeling & beyond remodeled my entire house and I couldn't be happier I got my exterior house Redon, exterior paint, pavers, redid the entire swimming pool, patio, landscape, fence, outdoor kitchen, fireplace etcin the interior house I wanted to renovate the entire thing, green remodeling & beyond was a company that a friend of mine worked with and highly recommended them said they are professional and have great customer service and are very caring, the inside of my house looks amazing in every way not one problem, stayed in the promised time frame and had a very reasonable priceI bought an older house because I wanted to renovate everything from inside and out, I could ask for a better outcome I am currently living in my dream home

Now that my nightmare is over, I would like to warn all those people out there that have checked the BBA site to never use Green Remodeling and Beyond's services here in LA It was hands down one of the worst experiences as a customer in my entire life They contacted me through my application on Home Advisor (whom I have also submitted a complaint) and in short - We were constantly treated like a side job with even people showing up in the evening to work on our home instead of the day after I took the day offand they even hired someone at our front door, letting a stranger in our home without even vetting him or having him fill out an application I have had to argue with them for the last six weeks on every single project we hired them to do and finally my husband and I realized that we would just have to accept poor quality work and clean it up after (which is almost done) A short list of things still left for us to cleanup include gouges in the walls, paint on the floor and on light switches, over spray in shower from tub being reglazed, paint dumped in our front yard and on side of house and chunks of paint chipped throughout both bathrooms and the kitchen and tiles broken on the floor They ran three weeks late on our agreed upon completion and whenever it suited them they would say something about the contract and what was in the contract They would constantly say the job was done with holes in the walls and broken stucco, trim not put in and plugs put in the wrong way, just to name a few things However, I do know this really is a lesson for me as my gut told me not to sign with them, but the deal beat all of the other bids by nearly 3k and so my frugal side won out and I paid the price Our house officially goes on the market today and I am so very proud of this place despite having to battle with one of their employees on a daily basis (***), who would, on a daily basis, try to intimidate me because I was female All who know me know he picked the wrong chick One time it got so bad between ***, one of his workers and I that my son turned to me and said he was so sorry that I was being treated in such a way I knew it was bad, but when my son said it out loud and I realized what both of my sons were witnessing, my heartbroke I started crying...mainly because no one should have to 'deal' with another person on my behalf simply because I am female and they are maleMy idealism was momentarily shattered and I also realized I didn't have much fight left in meBut I summoned it from deep within in me and here we are with a the job supposedly 'finished'
I signed the completion form (writing on it all of grievances) and I won't file a officially file a complaint, but I hope someone has the wherewithal to check this review and take heed

I gave a review yesterday regarding work practices of Green Remodeling & BeyondI gave them a two because overall I was pleased with the outcome of my kitchen and bathroomToday I received a call from Ilan Nizer telling me that due to my low reviews that it affected his pay and also will affect his workers, their families, and their childrenIt was upsetting to receive such a call from this manI dealt with him for over two months of lying to me, not receiving what was officially in the contract, and taking my money for a window that was never ordered, but he cashed my checkThis man has no one to blame for such a low rating but himselfMost of the workers were subcontractors and did not speak EnglishA couple of them were inexperienced workersIlan needs to look into his heart and change his way of work practicesI hope I never hear from this man again
