To whom it may concern,We sincerely apologize that Ms [redacted] feels we have in some way not honored our contract however, our contract is subject to timely paymentsOur work on the first portion, the roof, of Ms [redacted] home had been completed and only a small portion had been applied as a payment We gave her several months of calls, emails, and invoices that were sent to advise her of the outstanding balance and we did not receive final payment until October after much communication between Ms***, our Office Manager, [redacted] , one of our owner’s, [redacted] via, phone, email, & text messagesHer roof was completed in June and as a company when final payment had not been made; we incurred fees for eventually having to lien her propertyIt was decided at that time that the risk to complete any further work was not a risk we were willing to takeAs business owners we must make sound business and financial decisionsAlthough our goal is to have happy customers, we are also in business to profit; as is any companyWe are not a multi-million dollar company seeded in investors and large credit linesWe are locally owned & operated and believe deeply in the values and morals of doing good businessAgain, we apologize for any inconvenience and truly wish her the best and hope she can get the remaining work completed.We have emails that support all efforts made to reconcile with Ms [redacted] in which she tells us she can’t pay usShe also threatened to use her social site skills to smear our nameMs [redacted] is at this point targeting social sites including Yelp and Revdex.com to damage our reputationWe are in the process of looking to see if she is on the other sites stated in her emails posting about our company.Her funds were given to her by her insurance and we advised her it is considered insurance fraud to not allocate those funds accordinglyThere should have been no out of pocket expenses as insurance covered everything except her deductible and we offered payment plans as early as July to help her and she refusedWe feel at this time we have done everything in our power to facilitate any progress towards payments being made in fullIt took months before the remainder was paid in full and our decision to not continue to do work was made in the best interest of the company.Thank you for Choosing Green Roofing and Construction, [redacted] VP, Operations
