This is one company you should definitely avoidIn January we contracted with them for a kitchenIt was not until May that they finally startedAt that point it took them weeks to finishThe installers would come late, leave early or not show up at allThey complained about their employer constantly and two walked out on the job because they were so mad at the ownerOne day the supervisor and the electrician had a shouting match with each other in my home with me standing right thereThey ordered the wrong size cabinets, drilled a hole through the kitchen wall and into the living room wall over the couch, and never did properly fix the floor tiles where the old cabinets were removed The entire experience was unbelievableI was so glad to finally get them out of my house even though I personally had to patch walls and paint over their mistakes Do yourself and favor and keep looking

*** *** *** [redacted] *** [redacted] *** [redacted] [redacted] This is someone who we never cashed their check, we gave them their original check back on the 8th and cancel the agreement in person that dayThey got mad when we told them if they wanted to use our architect that it would cost them moneyAlso when we gave the check back on the 8th we have them sign paper showing we gave that back and we take back the paper work to our officeThis upset them as wellWe explained that the price they were given would no longer be valid and would have to be re estimated if they looked at the project in the future, which made them upset as well We have no intentions of doing any work with this person in the futureAnd they had no prior contact to me before the 8th or after the 8thAnything with this person is filed in anger and only to try to hurt Green Star Home Remodeling because they couldn’t get something for free.Thanks,*** ***General ManagerGreen Star Home Remodeling Group [redacted]

We had Green Star come to our home for a new roofIt was on Mar2016.I gave him 5,dollar deposit [redacted] said he would send someone out to measureNo one came [redacted] said he would start the job in to weeksWe didn't hear from him so my husband called this was after the weeks [redacted] said he ordered the roof and it would be ready in weeks.After weeks have passed [redacted] called me on June we was not home I called her back when we got home she was gone for the daySo I called her on June Monday 9:am she said she wanted to set up a time for someone to come out and measure [redacted] said he already ordered the roofSo how can he order it when on one measured for it? They couldn't have got in the back yard cause the gate is lockedIt's been lie after lie with himI want my money back

Our sales rep quit the company prior to our project starting The way Green Star does business is to get 30% down and hold you to the contract or you forfeit the deposit Our sales rep did not write everything we discussed down and did not relay conversations after the contract was signed, so the owner would NOT honor these conversations He was very rude, disrespectful and the workmanship was shoddy I have unfinished edges to my trim that they colored with brown marker, the soft close doors do not close on their own and we had to wait an additional days for them to finish the project During that days we were harassed weekly for a final payment even though the project was not finished Workman did not always cover flooring and no respect for your belongings Took items we wanted to keep from the remodel and then could not locate them to return Would never use them or recommend them

We moved in our house in and needed to update our two bathroomsThe home was built in the 1950's and bathrooms were very outdatedWe had four different companies give us a quote and ended up choosing Green Star home remodeling to do the jobWorkers were very clean and I felt they went out of their way to accommodate our schedulesThey cleaned up everyday and took the extra time needed to make sure the job was done correctlyWe highly recommend green star to our family and friends an we plan to have them do our windows this fall

Nothing like my brand new kitchenI couldn't have been happier with any other company The staff is accommodating, knowledgeable and efficientGreat turn around I recommend Green Star to everyone

Definitely bait-and-switch; also, do your own measurements before signingThat's where we're "caught."
I had a sunroom I wanted all the windows removed from and then walled up with vinyl/drywallWe had a few estimates, one was $which included a frame and window to keep light in thereWe got an estimate from Green Star that was about $but "discounted" to $This didn't include the $window from the other companyWe signed because they had a *** salesman I reckonHowever, we were told "green star employees in green star shirts and trucks would do the work." This was a pickup from a dude over an hour away bringing his buddies to do the workThen they didn't even do the last WindowI called Green Star and was told "it was contracted for 17' of windows." I guess I should have measured them myself because telling the salesman "I want them ALL gone" didn't register that I wanted them ALL gone, but only 17' of "All" of themI was told it would be another $to remove the last windowI wish I could post some images of the plywood/studs they put up but I don't see that optionI don't know if it was fixed or not before the vinyl was put onThey're still to drywall/finish the interior before I paint, so we'll see how the finished product looks when they're done
Of course, I'm irked to hell and back at the moment but didn't want to lose my thoughts, but if the finished product perks me up, I may raise the rating but It wouldn't go beyond a because I'm fairly certain with this experience I'll never be "Yay! I'm a fan."

Green Star would first of all like to sincerely apologize to the *** Family for the delay they experienced on their projectUnfortunately, the delivery of their product from the manufacturer was unexpectedly delayedThe "roof" that was ordered is actually a "structural insulated roof pane"l and
is manufactured in standard size increments so that it can be field cut to the exact specifications of the existing room addition it was to be installed onThe original sales rep took detailed measurements and pictures of the room, and yes, we do sometimes re-measure the site prior to ordering but in this case we decided to move ahead based on the specs that we hadThat is how it was ordered without revisiting the job site, and it was the correct sizeHowever, in light of the inconveniences they experienced, we awarded the ***'s a substantial reimbursement on their project. We were talking with this company for remodeling of our bathroom in the new house, the sales person *** was very professional and had a great presentation but was very pushy to sign the contract before we can start the work and they wanted 50% up frontOn Friday he came back to get us to resign the contract because he forgot put things on the contract like that we had the opportunity to get other bids and they would match and still do the work and we also wanted references from past people they have done work withHe arrived and we talked and he told us that his owner *** was coming over to give us some more ideas on the projectWhen *** arrived things went bad because of his attitude and pushy nature I at one point was about to make him leave and then he told me he had to take all of the paperwork back that we had signed and I did not agree to that I ask him to leave he did not want to leave without the paperwork and finally he did but *** left a copy of paper workI would

Contacted them and spoke with Kyle about an estimate to repair or replace our gutters on the back of our houseHe was very professional, had the best price and turnaround timeWe are very please with our new gutters

We hired Green Star to replace our tub and shower, and a sink & vanity in early Novto be rid of mold we found in our new house
The sales pitch was excellent and inspired faith in the company Everything went way downhill from there This has been a disaster since the beginning Let me just make a list
-As soon as we could not legally back out of our contract without paying $3,000, communication has been an issue My husband and I both tried multiple times to get them to call us back from November to February to add a water heater to our bathroom remodel (as we had trouble getting hot water upstairs), and to get the details on the items we were responsible for purchasing One to two business days before the construction was to begin, they called us to ask if they could begin installation; the date was fine for us, but it left us scrambling to purchase the items we needed I expressed my frustration at this and the complete lack of communication to this point; they

We had to get some remodel work done due to an incident that happened at our houseIt was requiring the remodel of two bathroomsWe are fortunate to have bathrooms so the down time wasn't bad as they completed the projects quicklyWhen thinking about completing a project that big, I immediately got overwhelmedI was thankful for Kyle and his team at Green Star for their support and hard workThey charge a good price which was not the highest but higher than others, but once the job was done our satisfaction was met

We have used Green Star for all of our home remodeling needs from our bathrooms to our kitchenThey always do great work and offer exceptional customer serviceI highly recommend them!

If I could give a zero stars, oh man would IThis was the worst customer service/ project completion place I have ever heard ofYou here of being promised things and then not following through, this is exactly what we gotToo much trouble for an expensive bathroom remodel that wasn't completely finishedWe were just glad to finally get them out of our homeTile work is jacked up in one side of bathroom because they apparently can't cut or grout rightHorrible communication- had two employees quit with the duration of the projectTerribly Disrespectful
Too many major screw ups-
Assigned a project manager that showed up only once at the houseManager/owner didn't come out to inspect after all was completed simply because he was rude the whole time just because we asked them if the shower insert should be off centeredWhich it should have been centeredAlso we were promised paint on the walls and all hardware put up, none of that got doneEven the mirrors weren't put upPromised new recessed lighting, didn't get done eitherNot worth $17,Had to redo the tile on the tub because apparently the communication between the employees suck and the didn't put the new facets on the tubAlso, the manager had the audacity to tell us it wasn't ordered, when clearly it was in the basement with only the vanity top because they forgot to bring the vanity!!!! ***
Very disorganized because we literally had to come up with plans that would look good off of PinterestNo actual portfolio or ideas were actually given, just a few pictures on a phoneI hope this helps some people, we normally don't complain, but stay away!!!! Not worth the headache

I used this company to install all new windows in a home that was built in the early 50s I was impressed with their knowledge when making the choice of which windows to use for replacement
I would definitely use them again for a home project
