Green Valley Dental Reviews (5)

Dear Sir or Madam,I have received the complaint that Ms. [redacted] has registered with you. I am disappointed that Ms. [redacted] did not respond to the letter that we sent her in a good faith to attempt to resolve the matter. As I stated in my response I contacted my business advisor consulting group... and they were conducting research as to whether or not their insurance expert suggested a better code. No other code was suggested for the treatment provided for Ms. [redacted] . Frankly, I was surprised that the patient did not respond to the email that I sent to her to attempt to resolve the issue on 08-31-2015. Because we are a solution-driven practice, we were hoping to find a ground that would forgive/allow for her misunderstanding of the insurance submission process.Ms. [redacted] did sign a financial agreement that clearly outlines that every treatment plan is only an estimate and was informed that if she required specific coverage information to contact her insurance company directly. At this office we submit insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients NOT an expectation that we will forgive debts and provide free clinic services.I am sad that Ms. [redacted] feels this way about the services that we provided to aid in achieving dental health. As it seems our attempts to resolve this issue have not been successful. I can only suggest that she be responsible for the services that she agreed to; signed off on; and accepted. Her decision to not meet the expectations in the client/patient-provider relationship in valuing the service provided to her by her dental hygienist, Crystal Stewart is disappointing at best. We have sent Ms. [redacted] 's account to collections. As it appears Ms. [redacted] doesn't have the confidence and trust in our relationship, we are choosing to dismiss her as a patient and wish her the best in pursuing a more fitting relationship with a dental provider. Sincerely, [redacted] Pearson

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First of all I had already filed my grievance with the Revdex.com prior to receiving MsPearson's letter since this matter had been going on for months. Had she actually made a "good faith" effort weeks prior to all the time I spent on phone calls between her office manager, ***, and Delta Dental, I would have most certainly responded to her letter. Furthermore, I understand the form I signed at Green Valley. However, in my opinion Green Valley never fulfilled their patient responsibility nor their responsibility to Delta Dental to file an accurate claim. I am a responsible bill-payer and will continue to be so. This was never about the money; rather the unprofessional business practices carried out by Green Valley Dental. For Ms*** to have made the statement that she made attempts to resolve this issue are a bold-faced lieLastly, I am not surprised she turned me over to Collections, rather than to correct their inability to correctly file a claim, they chose the easiest path. According to Delta Dental, Green Valley had two "good faith" options; 1) submit a correct claim or 2) write it off. Regards,*** ***
