We wanted a home inspection on a brand new home buildWe looked for a qualified home inspector, with RHI designation, who was affiliated with CAPHI (Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (AB) and had an excellent rating with the Revdex.com and a person of tenure We hired Paul [redacted] from Insight Home Inspections Ltd Paul did a thorough hour home inspection, with thermal imaging which showed water leaking from an upstairs washroom onto the living room ceiling This leak was not visible to the naked eye He uncovered so many deficiencies with this new build, that we opted out of the purchase of what would have appeared to be the perfect home for us The cost of the home inspection saved us much heart ache and countless dollars of having to deal with mould, faulty construction and numerous other problems DON'T let anyone talk you out of a home inspection by a qualified professional, better to miss out on what appears to be a dream home and avoid a nightmare reality Thank you Paul for an excellent job and giving us a thorough (page report with photos) to assist us in making the correct decision and protecting our investment
