Green Vision Materials is disappointed that our product did not meet the customer’s expectations. We also regret that the employee who took her order did not steer her towards a product that may have met her expectations like our “Bed Prep Plus Soil” or “Premium Leaf Humus” products which are...

priced higher. The client lives within five miles of our location and our products are almost always available for inspection by potential clients prior to placing an order. The majority of Green Vision Materials’ clientele are professional landscapers who use our products daily for raised beds, including the topsoil the customer ordered and received.  Green Vision Materials maintains the position that there is nothing inherently wrong with the product.  It will grow plant material as it should.  The appearance of the soil has little or no effect on the soil’s ability to sustain plant life.  Despite this, we still offered the customer a refund for her unsatisfactory purchase. The customer wants us to remove the soil that was delivered and has already been put in place.  Unfortunately, we can not remove the soil from the customer’s yard as stated on our invoice, “Green Vision Materials will not be held responsible for damages resulting from materials delivered past the curb.”  For this reason among others, company policy is to dump purchased material at the curb or on a driveway.  The customer had the driver dump the material directly into the raised bed.  Using a machine to remove material from the raised bed will damage the raised bed. We reiterate that Company policy is to refund the customer for their unsatisfactory purchase, which we have offered twice.
