Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:My first contact with GE's employees on this system was with a young woman who stated that GE was aware that GE's products had been installed in this home and they wanted to make sure that those products were working well That was her stated purpose The next time I saw that young woman was when she introduced me to the sales team of [redacted] and [redacted] *** There was no appointment to discuss the merits of the water treatment system I was promised that my utilities bills will be reduced through the use of this system, that it would protect my pipes from calcium/lime build up, and would improve my skin, clothes and help the environment The use of water to flush the system was not explained, and certainly not the use of many, many gallons of water twice a month or oftener A family I know, who stated they have the same system explained that the flushing of their system takes place only once a monthI don't see how losing gallons of water helps the environment Regards, [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern: Our representative set up an appointment with Ms*** in February for the purpose of testing the water to explain the negative impact that hard water would have on her homeOur representative did explain to Ms*** that having soft water would reduce her soap
usage by 50% and it would extend the life of her water-bearing appliances, rendering them more efficient than appliances exposed to hard water ***)She decided to purchase the GE ProElite Water Treatment SystemWe were made aware of the fact that Ms*** utility bill went up from $in January to $in February however, Ms*** was admittedly only in her home for a small portion of JanuaryMarch is also a warmer month than February so a small increase is reasonableThe GE Pro Elite is Energy Star certified and does not increase the monthly electric bill. Ms*** contacted us shortly after her install to address her concerns about the regenerate water the system use to rinse itselfWe explained to her that this is and most water-bearing appliances use rinse water (dishwasher, washing machine, etc.) We went to her home to check the system and assured her that it was working properlyThe ProElite system in fact, has patented sensor technology that cause the system to use half of the regenerate water the a traditional softener usesThe system may, in fact, be regenerating once or twice a month however, standard softeners rinse twice as much *** At Green Water Technologies, we always strive to provide the highest level of customer service to achieve complete customer satisfactionWere there something wrong with the system, we would love the opportunity to repair itHowever, the system is is perfect working orderIt is protecting Ms*** pipes, faucet and fixtures as well as saving her money by preventing repairs, reducing soap usage and the need to purchase bottled water.
