This soil was screened and we delivered it as requested Unfortunately , it rained mm that afternoon and this may have made the topsoil difficult to handle for a while, but has nothing to do with us
Of course we don't advertise that it
comes with or without weed seeds in it , however, if someone inquires we don't hesitate to let them know that all topsoil *** will have weed seeds in it***
Our soil has very little clay in it because it is more of a sandy baseIt is actually pretty good soil with less clay than most
As with every load of topsoil delivered in the city there are weed seeds in the soilThis soil comes from land that has been growing crops and then is stripped for developmentWhatever, seeds happen to be blowing around the city will be in the soil
This soil will grow good grass if managed properly Homeowners should consider laying sod if they are expecting that to look like sod after seeding the lawn On a sod farm it takes years to seed grass and bring it up to sod standards For $per truckload, including delivery this is very good value, however, after delivery it is up to the customer to manage the soilWe don't include horticulture service or site visits to follow upThe product was delivered as requested and we don't feel that their is any justification for a refund

To start, I would like to note that this issue never would have reached this stage had the manager returned our phone calls regarding the poor quality of the product deliveredWe were disheartened to read a response for a customer complaint so dismisive and sarcasticWe did not expect a newly seeded lawn to look like sod as suggested but we did expect topsoil void of clay and capable of producing more grass than Canola and other assorted weeds***
