I have been buying and selling property for years and have never dealt with a company as slow as GreenboxThey sit on files for weeks on end, nothing happens then they come up with hoops to jump throughYou jump through all those giving them ridiculous amounts of irrelevant information and then they find another just for funThere is no sense of urgency of any kind and a simple loan took over months to processI bought a car for the same amount as I was borrowing here and financed it in mins on the phoneI have bought, renovated and sold houses more quickly than they took to process this 65%LTV loanI will never deal with them again - they caused me so much unnecessary stress and we nearly lost the house - the money came through a whole month after the original deadline and on the final day of the third and final extensionThen a couple of weeks later they sold the loan on to someone elseDreadful company - avoid at all costs

GreenBox Loans offers unconventional loans that seem relatively easy to qualify for but are unobtainable in the long run. They will ask for all kinds of additional information that is not required for loans such as the bank statement loan. In our case, we pre-qualified AND pre-approved, but even after the seller granted us THREE extensions on our contract, GreenBox still didn't have an answer as to whether we approved or not. We nearly lost $20,000 in earnest money. We did lose over $4000 in expenses such as appraisals, surveys, inspections, etc. Loans normally close in 30 days, but after nearly 60, we still didn't have an answer. The seller did not grant a fourth extension as they were tired of waiting on GreenBox. We lost the home. After posting about our experience online, I was contacted by several GreenBox employees more or less trying to bully me into not posting about our experience. Not surprisingly, most of my posts were deleted by GreenBox.
