***, the owner of GreenEffect is most certainly a man of his
word and knows and understands what good business isWe had an issue with the
snow removal we had contracted with GreenEffectIt was agreed that they
would no longer provide said service and we would receive a pro-rated
refundHaving been soured by other snow removal companies not coming
on heavy snow days, and then not getting a refund when they stop showing
up at all, I thought *** would be another oneCouldn't have been
further from truth*** refunded our entire contract price and called
me personally to apologizeHe is a man of his word and , I believe,
would be a good choice for anyone who needs snow removal done

Consumer sent the following update:
I just wanted to follow up in regards to this complaint. We finally did receive a refund from Green Effect Landscaping for $181.79 on 3/30/15.  Green Effect stated in his initial response to our complaint, which was filed on 1/30/15,  that he would be giving us a full refund for our services.  However, I received an email from him stating this was a “prorated refund.”  The refund should have been for $480.38, which is the amount that was paid to him for our contract on November 12th, 2014.  The actions of Green Effect Landscaping after our complaint further represents their poor commitment to customer service.  It took two months from the date of our complaint to the day we received a partial refund.  Green Effect also misrepresented to us, not only by communicating through the Revdex.com, but also by contacting us, that they would be refunding us in full.  We terminated our contract with this company due to poor service and false promises.  The actions after our complaint only further mitigate the lack of service this company provides.

In regards to Mr. [redacted] complaint. It is my due diligence to make sure all customers are satisfied. GreenEffect Landscaping Action:
Even though we provided service on numerous occasions throughout the 2014-2015 winter season, We will be refunding Mr. [redacted] in full.

In response to the complaints filed by [redacted] above, the business owner asserts that his contract, which was explained prior to signing, with the complaining party clearly stated that the driveway would not be plowed until the snow exceeded three inches. Notwithstanding the clear...

provisions of this contract, the complaining party above insisted on having her driveway plowed when there was less than an inch of snow. The complaining party’s driveway is made entirely of stones. In an attempt to satisfy the complaining party, notwithstanding the clear provisions of the contract, the business owner stated that he would plow the driveway but then warned the complaining party that due to the small amount of snow on her driveway, it was likely the stones would get picked up and pushed onto her grass. In reply, the complaining party clearly stated that she would deal with this and it would be her problem. After the business owner completed the plow over his own protestations and warnings, the complaining party requested a refund of the entire amount paid by her for the plowing season notwithstanding that more than one plows had been performed at that time.Although the business owner does not feel it has any obligation to do so and that it has, as it always does, performed honestly and with integrity, in order to go above and beyond to meet the business owners own goals of client satisfaction, the business owner agreed to clear all of the stones off of the complaining parties driveway at no charge to the complaining party and to refund a portion of the seasonal snow plow fee by subtracting only those plows that had been completed. The business owner believes that the complaining party has misrepresented the events and his actually slandered the business owner. Notwithstanding this fact, and the fact that the business owner firmly believes that he could come prevail in any court of law, the business owner also firmly believes that customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance. Please consider this reply carefully before considering any other party for your snow plowing services.
