The only reason that the old problems with other companies came up is because this was discussed with Greener Grass (GG) when I signed up for service. I was reluctant to sign on with another company because of the inability of any of the many previous lawn care companies to effectively control weeds in the yard. GG had claimed that their organic approach would yield better results. They even pointed out to me that there were many area in the front lawn that were thin or bare and had mold and moss growing on the ground. I believe it was stated this was due to improper ph. The GG organic approach was supposed to remedy this situation and provide an overall healthier lawn.  In understanding that these problems cannot be cured in one application I allowed for almost an entire season to pass in a patient effort to allow the process time. I had expressed my displeasure with the need for call backs in the past as I simply do not have time to manage my own lawncare. I need a plan and a company that will simply work. GG was supposed to be different but I experienced nothing but the same inadequate results that I had received from all prior companies. This is the reason for my unwillingness to work further with GG to try to reach a resolution. This was understood by both parties in the beginning. This is also why I have no reason to believe that allowing another billable, scheduled visit to occur would have remedied the problem. I was sold on the promise that the GG organic products would be different from all of my prior experiences. The only thing I received was more of the same and at a higher price. My request for a 50% discount on the balance owed was warranted because the 2 outstanding invoices were for ineffective treatments. I should have asked for 100% off but I was trying to be reasonable. GG only wanted to work with me in such a capacity that would continue the contracted relationship and their revenue stream. They were uninterested in providing any kind of discounts as part of a cancellation agreement in spite of my complaints for lack of results.
