Greener Grass Systems, Inc. Reviews (2)

Review: During the summer of 2014 I hired Green Oasis/Greenskeepers to cut grass and seed my lawn. In September on 2014 I cancelled my grass cutting and seeding service with them, but I had them do a fall clean up. At this point there was no contract just a verbal agreement to preform these services and was ended September 2014. March 2014 I received a flyer in the mail saying that if I did not want my grass cutting service I need to call them and let them know. I called them and said that I do not want them to preform grass cutting or seeding, but I wanted the to do a spring clean up. We agreed on this service over the phone. The spring clean up was never completed and they seeded my yard. The service that I asked for was not complete and the service I cancelled was preformed. Then they charged me for seeding my grass.Desired Settlement: This is a erroneous charge and I feel that I do not have to pay this. I have talked with previous owners and they agreed, but they keep having turn over and that reinstates the problem.

We have made several attempts to resolve this issue via phone and email with Mr. [redacted] He has not responded to any of our attempts. We are willing to come to a fair agreement to resolve this matter.

Review: july 2014 had company extend my irrigation system to my side lot garden. job was not completed to my satisfaction and the poles holding the sprinkler heads had to be changed. this was done after my system was shut off in ocober. I had not received any bills to this time. they still needed to complete stabilizing the sprinklers, removing the lumber the had first installed and readjust the sprinkler spray over the garden. before any of this was completed I received the first bill for this job including past due interest. I made an appointment and spoketo the manager of that area, [redacted]. in that meeting we agreed that I would pay all but 200.00 of the bill and the balance when the job was completed. in the spring they came after I called them and readjusted the sprinklers only. then I received a second statement stating that I had 10 days to pay this bill as it was overdue. I called and insisted on speaking to the owner. I expressed my dissatisfaction with their service, th job not being completed and final notice billing when no bills had been sent. I expected a new billl to be sent to me but instead received a call from the company stating that they expected payment. I told them I felt an adjustment shoul;d be made as I had to complete the job myself and was told they would have to speak to someone about that. I told them I would pay them right on the phone when an adjustment was made. Never received a return call or email back. I emailed them if they had contacted me I had not received it and please resend. Never heard from them, but then received a letter that they had turned my bill over to a collection agency. the complany never attempted to resolve the issue with me when they had made the errors and not followed through.Desired Settlement: I would like a billing adjustment and a correction to the collection agency.

In July of 2014 we did a project for [redacted] that involved adding one zone onto her existing sprinkler system. This zone was intended to provide coverage for her perennial garden. To do this we had to install sprinklers heads mounted on posts in order to achieve the height needed to water over the tall plants in her garden. The original agreement stated that the we would install rotor type sprinkler heads mounted on 4x4 treated posts. We completed the installation as per agreement and the system provided the necessary coverage over the garden. Soon after, I received a call from [redacted] that she was unhappy with the appearance of the posts (which she had agreed to). I let her know that I would see what other options were available to achieve the desired results. There aren’t many commercially available options to make this happen. I took the time to engineer a more aesthetically acceptable option which [redacted] agreed to. It took us some time to make this happen, however I never asked for more money even though we incurred costs that went far beyond the initially agreed upon amount. We installed the new posts in the fall of 2014 and made sure everything worked the following spring. There were four wooded posts that were left behind but later retrieved from the job site. The job resulted in Green Oasis incurring $175.00 in material costs beyond what was agreed upon as well as several man hours to make the changes. We did not bill out anything extra beyond the original agreed upon amount. Ultimately, we wanted [redacted] to happy with the appearance of the posts in her garden. All we ask is to be paid the remaining portion of the original amount of the job.Sincerely,[redacted]Branch Manager, River Falls OfficeGreen Oasis by The Greenskeepers
