RE: Complaint # ***Mr*** had his car towed in to us and stated that it is smoking very badlyHe also stated that it was recently at another shop for service, and after that is when his problem started.We verified his complaint "WHITE SMOKE FROM TAILPIPE" our technician found the PCV
hose was pinched off in between the air box halves. Once we reinstalled PCV hose in its correct location, the white smoke coming out of the tailpipe was reduced a lotWe attempted to drive car and "burn it off" the car has no power, brought back to shop and found catalytic convertor is plugged upWhen I talked to Mr***, I discussed all of this with him and other possibilitiesWhat we do know is it cant be driven with a plugged catalytic convertor. Mr*** agreed to let us install a new catalytic convertor on vehicle, After this repair the white smoke was reduced even moreI told Mr*** to drive vehicle and to keep me informed.He brought car back and we found engine has severe blow by (the fuel air mixture blows past the piston , and into the crankcase) on the left side of engine. Advised Mr***. Mr*** called back and was not completely satisfied and we discussed options and agreed on diagnosing his other car at a discounted rate or even at no charge.Obviously he changed his mindI told him I'm fine with that and refunded the money to him on Sept15th
