I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

We received a certified letter on 5/4/with Ms ***'s complaint of wrong reporting of her credit information to the credit bureaus. We cannot find any other documentation of a prior notification of the issue. Under FCRA we have days to respond and we are almost done
with the research and will contact her by letter with all our corrective actions

We are very sorry to hear that Mr*** is upset with the service he received at *** Metro, and we take his complaint very seriouslyLike many financial institutions, our fees and charges have changed over the yearsWe consistently communicate these changes in accordance with the
applicable legal requirements through statements, newsletters and lobby signageOur staff is trained to communicate the changes prior to the implementation dateWe understand that members don’t always agree with our rationale for charging certain fees and that there may be some resistanceFor example, the $fee for assistance by phone was properly disclosed and implemented over seven years agoThis fee is only charged when members call us for information that they could obtain themselves through online or mobile banking or by using our telephone tellerOur $fee for NSF and paid overdrawn items is nominal in comparison to what other institutions charge for the same serviceThis fee has been the same for more than yearsUnfortunately, privacy regulations do not permit us to address Mr***’s questions about the $in overdraft protection in a public forumJane G***, our Vice President of Lending, will contact him to explain the situation and answer any questions he may haveOur institution has just three offices open to the general public and so we know that it is not always convenient for our members to conduct business in personHowever, we continually add to and enhance the service we provide to our members at a distanceOur telephone teller, online banking and mobile account access are all free, easy to use and available anytimeJust over a year ago, we expanded our telephone service so that member calls are answered by a live person hours a day, seven days a weekAgain, we do take Mr***’s complaints very seriously and we will provide him with an apology as well as an explanation about his overdraft protectionWe have also set up a process to ensure that when he requests a payroll advance by phone (an exception to our policy that the member must visit a branch in person), it can be accommodated by any staff member
