Revdex.com:At this time, my complaint, ID [redacted] regarding GreenLeaf Solar has been resolved.I was mailed a letter stating that my contract is canceled Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Hello *** ***, I received an email today in reference to a complaint you have made to the NY Revdex.com about your experience with my Company This is the first I am hearing of this situation and I apologize for your negative experience I do however wish you would have asked to talk to
someone who in charge or the owner to try to properly resolve this problem prior to making Revdex.com complaint It would have saved many people a lot of time, including yourself, and I could have terminated your contract I recently pulled you file and contact sheet, with shows all contact we have had with you, and reviewed it in entirety. If I can have a few minutes of your time, I do have some things that you said in your complaint that I would like to address Tom came prepared with a contract on the first day because many clients see the savings that buying solar will bring them and want to sign immediately, that way we can lock in their Utility rebate before it decreases These decreases in the rebates are what will make the price of installing Solar increase when there are delays on the homeowners behalf We need to do the site inspection to submit the proper information to lock in your rebate When you delayed the site inspection it puts the rebate amount in jeopardy and you can get less money back from the utility company That being said, Tom coming with contract does not mean you have to take that step and by no means did Tom force you to sign a contract As a adult with life experience I would expect you to know what a contract is Quoted from the Webster Dictionary a contract is defined as; "a binding agreement between two or more persons or parties; especially : one legally enforceable Also, within the contract, which is a NYS law, are two copies of a “Right to Cancel” These forms are there for someone in your situation, who decides, after signing a contract, that he or she would like to cancel the contract You did receive two copies of the right to cancel and you signed a form stating that you received and understood them Also, let it be noted that there is absolutely no small font or fine print in our contract and the “Right to Cancel “ pages are full size individual pages and the page that you signed acknowledging that you received them is its own full size individual page. Now, in reference to your roof and if it is eligible for solar I see in the your contact sheet that you were called multiple time from our main office to schedule a site inspection as well as multiple times in reference to the approved state issued solar loan through energy finance SolutionsThe site inspection includes a roof integrity inspection, structural analysis and a shade analysis If the roof or structural test fail then the job cannot be done either way so there was absolutely nothing to worry about and the contract would have been terminated anyway In you complaint I also saw that you mentioned two things about your roof, the first being that it has three layers Well, while you are signed into the Revdex.com site, you should pull your invoice of who installed that roof and report them to the Revdex.com because NY does not allow layers of asphalt shingles on a home Second, *** ***, *** ***r (who is not an install company) and *** ** *** (who is no longer in business) are all wrong if they said you can not install solar on a flat roof In their defense, perhaps you mis-understood them and they said “they do not install on flat roofs” and not "they can not install on flat roofs” Flat roofs are installed on all the time and it is extremely common My company in experienced in all solar applications from ground arrays to arrays on terra cotta tile roofs. You also said that you applied and got approved for the state loan I am having a hard time understanding why someone would schedule an at home estimate, sign a contract and then fill out and submit an entire loan application if they didn’t plan on going through with the job Not only that but then have three other companies come in, unless they were before us, which then I dont know you would call a forth company Even if there is a logical reason for this, as you stated in your last sentence, “tom emailed me a letter that if his company finds that the roof is in to bad of shape that the contract can be canceled”, I dont understand what the problem is and why you wouldn’t return or answer a call to schedule the site inspection Although Tom is a highly educated sales rep and said we can install on a flat roof, perhaps the site inspection would show the integrity wasn’t up to standards and it couldn’t carry the added weight Tom did not go up on the roof to inspect the roofing and did not got into your attic to inspect the structural integrity That is the reason for the site inspection All that being said, thank you for you time, and again, I apologize for the negative experience you had with my company We do thrive for excellence and pride ourselves off of our clients satisfaction We work mainly off of referrals and you are the first client I know of who has been dissatisfied I completely understand if you do not want to go solar with your home, however if you would like to deal with me directly, I can schedule the site inspection and do it myself Maybe, just maybe, the flat roof is perfect for solar and you can end up having no electric bill like many of your neighbors who bought solar too If not, please let me know and I will terminate your contract immediately Thank YouSeth W***
