Review: I contracted with Custom Concrete Technology of Pittsburgh in October 2010 to put a concrete overlay on my driveway, sidewalk and other concrete surfaces using a product provided by a company called CTI (Concrete Technologies Incorporated). CCT of Pittsburgh performed the installation, and as part of this installation there was a 10 year limited warranty with the product itself (which I have the warranty form for). CCT of Pittsburgh was supposed to provide service/maintenance of the warranty for the product, as well as agreed (in the contract) to provide re-sealing of the surface at 2 year intervals. The contract even specified that the first re-seal (at year 2) was to be free of charge. The 2nd re-seal at year 4 was to be 1/2 of the normal cost. The normal cost of sealing the entire surface was supposed to be approximately $750.I contacted CCT of Pittsburgh the following year several times, to get them to look at several chips/cracks/pops in the surface. Over several months. I attempted to get hold of the owner of the company, Brian Greenlee. I eventually discovered that Brian left the company and abandoned his customers. The company was out of business, and he handed over the customers to one of his employees, [redacted], who re-incorporated under a different name and therefore would not honor the service warranty in the contract or the agreement to re-seal the surface at a discounted rate at the 2 and 4 year marks. My biggest complaint however, is that because CCT of Pittsburgh failed to send in the proper warranty forms to CTI (the maker of the product), CTI has refused to honor the product warranty entirely, leaving me with neither a company to service the installation or a manufacturer to honor the warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the service and materials in the amount of $6500, as the contract I signed indicated that the surface would have a 10 year warranty, but due to negligence on the part of the company installing (CCT of Pittsburgh), the warranty is void.
