I will let my letter speak for itself
On July 2, my Mother passed awayOn July 16th, my husband Carl called your office to inform you of my Mother's passing and to arrange for the pick up of the filtration device on July 24/
My husband was told that there would probably be a fee for cancellation, by "Natalie", but she would speak to her boss about this
My husband confirmed that my Mother had passed away and that this was not a cancellation!
On July 17/15, one day later, your company attempted to take $from my Mother's accountThere was no authorization to take this amount from her account and no one called back to inform us of this withdrawalInstead you took it upon yourselves to just take money from the account
On July 24th, which was the day the system was picked up, your company again took a withdrawal for the monthly amount, even though you were fully aware that your Client was deceased and you were in the process of removing your product from her household, that very day!
The $did not go through, as I removed all money from this account prior to your attemptHowever, you did get away with taking money from the account of this deceased Client's bank account, with full knowledge of her death
I find it incredible that in an age of technology as it is, your company would show such a flagrant lack of integrity in your business dealings
Luckily, we will get our NSF charges reversed and there has been a stop payment put on the account for any money you might choose to attempt to take in future from this deceased Customer
Luckily for any potential customers you might have, they will be able to do a search on your company and learn exactly what they need to know about your company and what they can look forward to after signing up with you I wonder how many people are interested in the integrity of a company they consider doing business with?
Well, as much as I have enjoyed telling you what I think, I really must goSo much to doAnd so many websites to visit and so much to addSeriously, the possibilities are endless when it comes to spreading the word over the internet
Don't you just love technology! :)
P.SI believe you have my phone number on file!

[redacted] They have pushy sales people. They sold my husband a water filter and I did not know about it because my husband had a brain aneurysm that leads to him having short term memory. They always ask for the home owner which is me not my husband. I asked them to cancel it cause I could not afford it and they ignored my phone calls and said I had to get a legal paper to prove my husband had a brain aneurysm. So I am paying this amount for 5 years and there is absolutely no difference to my water. [redacted]

Sales person insisted entry into my home. Unacceptable! If I did not call you to come to my house then you do NOT have the right to enter my house. Awful. Also pretty sure our drinking water is safe and if that is my belief please don't argue with me.

I wish if there is less than zero to tick it. My nightmare was started when two months ago I purchased a new house with installed water softener system in the unfinished basement. I clearly asked my real state agent that I do not want it because it's far from the wall and would be difficult to finish the basement. I signed the initial agreement but in the final agreement I did not notice that the seller agent added by hand writing with a very fine blue color this water system. One month after closing date I surprised with the [redacted] bill showing an extra monthly fees with $40 ($34.95 plus tax) for greenlife water softener system. I contacted the company to remove the system from home but they told me you have a contract for 5 years started on March 2013 and the cancellation fees around $650 plus tax for the filter removal or I have to continue the contract for 33 months with a total cost $1320. Finally I decided to purchase the softener system but they offered me around $1600 plus tax and the remaining monthly fees which is more than the actual price of such simple system. I feel this company like a spider web, no way to escape and I hope this review could be helpful for another potential victims with similar contract. Please think one million time before you sign a new contract with this company. [redacted]

It was 9 pm, and woke up my 3 month old and almost 2 yr old sons. He was Looking for who is in charge of the water bill, I explained that was me. He went on to start telling/ asking me about my pipes. I explained that I am currently renting the house, they would have to contact owner. Customer service is horrible! We unknowingly assumed the purchase of the unit with our home. We were advised we had 2 options; it was a 5 year term. We can pay a $545 removal fee or continue the payments for the rest of the term and then we would own the unit. We decided to wait the term out. We have repeatedly requested a copy of this "contract" with no success to date. 3+ years later and the unit should be paid for this month, so we contacted them again to confirm this would be our last payment and were advised this time that it was a 5 year rental. We can now continue to rent it, buy it out for $500 (original estimate was $1700, $200 more than a new unit would cost) or they will remove it for free. (Life span of the units are only 7 years) I have been contacting customer service agents, supervisors etc. for a month now with no success or resolution. Yet they've been calling my husbands cellphone to confirm date of removal. (right after our last payment is made) [redacted]

Extremely [redacted] sales person. She let out my indoor cat and then came in the home uninvited when he stepped out to get it. I was scantily clad on the couch. And ran upstairs as I was half naked. She insisted I come back and talk. I got dressed and came down. She had already convinced my husband to show her the water main. She told me twice that the company installs the wate filter at no charge. It was like pulling teeth to get her to admit there is a monthly fee. When I got firm and told her we are not interested she acted shocked we were not going to buy her filter for the sake of our children. [redacted].

Numerous instances of pushy sales people trying to gain access to the premise to do a "site inspection" under the guise of a "government rebate" and to "verify if you qualify" and purposefully vague, misleading and confusing information and sales tactics.
They imply that they are from "the city" and "the government", while in reality they are trying to sell a service.

When asked to identify themselves after questioning what city department they were with, they quickly flash an ambiguous badge and attempt to hide the fact that they're sales solicitors.

Have complained to the company before, and was guaranteed they would not return. Yet, here they are again. Called again, and customer service assured me they would be recalled from this area immediately.

[redacted] At one point my parents had 2 of these "water softeners" in there basement. The origianal one was installed by Greenlife the other by [redacted].

I see no difference in either company. They have sales people come to your door [redacted]. They then force these "water softeners on you. [redacted] had the good sense to come and remove there equipment after proving to them that there contract is null and void as my parents are not in the state of mind to make these decisions anymore.

I have made several calls to Greenlife. Everytime being told that management is looking into it, never to hear from anyone again. As of tomorrow I have [redacted] coming to remove Greenlife's equipment and have told them I will be placing it a the curb if they do not come and get it.

I have also contacted Kevin W. at [redacted] regarding this matter along with the Founder Daniel M. [redacted]@greenlifewater.com [redacted]

GreenLife water has sales people who may not disclose all the details of the rental agreement. This can lead to problems should it become necessary to discontinue the service prior to the completion of the 5 year term. There is a very substantial penalty!!! Sales Representatives, it seems, will avoid disclosure of this and the agreement itself has the condition written in extremely small print on the back of the agreement.
BE SURE THAT YOU READ EVERY WORD before you sign.

I had been thinking of getting a whole house water filter for some time when Kevin and a second fellow came to my door offering them. Of course, I was suspicious.
He presented the water filter almost (but not explicitly) as a government program, When I asked specifically, it was clearly not. After a detailed discussion, I decided that, in my case, the terms were reasonable, and I accepted the offer.
The filter was installed with care, overseen by Kevin who found the best possible way of fitting it in.
Two results: First, some good results: my winter rash that I always get this time of year disappeared. My hair was manageable, needing no conditioner. It was great to be able to drink from any faucet in the house, without worry.
Second, During the cooling off period, I had second thoughts. Not about this company, but about whether a whole-house filter real;y fit in with my own priorities. I felt that this money could and should be used for other purposes. I wrote to cancel. The company presented no problem; I was treated respectfully and professionally, and not billed.
In summary, they offered me a product/service with full disclosure of what it was, I willingly entered into a contract with them which I fully understood, they met their part of the contract, and, when I wanted it removed, they removed it. NO PROBLEM
