Review: I bought a $44,500.00 tractor from greenline in feburary when purchased it had 8.9hrs on it,I have had it to the dealer 3 different times each time its there for a week I myself have put 8 hrs on the expensive machine it has 25 total from greenline trying to fix this tractor I've been it has delay in the machine when the clutch is released and the brakes are as soft as they can be unless you pump them I've been told that I just have to deal with it when I pay $44,500.00 for a machine I want brakes and want it to work right I've been told by [redacted] corporate that it is a issue with the tractor and that they cannot fix it to deal with local dealer on it since there a independent dealer greenline offered me to switch it for a different tractor and loose $10,000.00 or go up to a different one and cost me $15,000.00 more I asked them to take back and get me a refund they told me they could sell it but id take a $5,0000.00-$8,000.00 loss cause the hours on it and I bought it I don't think this is right I should not loose anythingcause I has problems that they cannot fixDesired Settlement: I want a complete refund and I will stay away from [redacted] I will go and buy a [redacted] and never [redacted] againor id be willing to go to a open tractor and get the difference in a refund

Response:

Both the purchase price and the price difference that he stated are incorrect. This is the same power reverser transmission and braking system that [redacted] has had since the 90's. If there was a problem I believe it would have been addressed before now. This tractor is just different than what he was use to. Nothing is wrong with the tractor except buyer's remorse. As I have told him (to his face) he should have done more due diligence when making an investment of this size. We are trying to work through that and would perfer doing it face to face, versus behind the keyboard or through others.

[redacted] corporate along with 3 other dealers have all stated to me that there is a problem with the power reverser and that they don't exactally know how to fix it they said some machines are affected by it others are not

I think its odd that [redacted] doesn't know about this but yet 3 dealers and corporate does along with [redacted] and [redacted]

as far as buyers remorse there is none I would be happy with it if it had brakes that operated like they should I think its strange that the according to greenlines service people the 6000 series has the same issue but you can buy a part from [redacted] to fix this issue

I know several other people that say there tractors they get from [redacted] have soft brakes and some other minor issues and they end up going some other dealer to get it fixed but when another dealer tells me to not bring that tractor to them to try to fix that its in [redacted] system as having issues tells me somethings wrong and im the one stuck with a lemon that no one wants

yes the delaer offered to buy it back from me on Tuesday 4/ 15/2014 where he upped the offer to where id loose $5,265 because its used and has hours on it it has 25hrs on it and ive put 8 on it don't that tell you something wrong when the dealer has put more hrs on the machine then the owner has

ive owned several tractors over the years and never had a issue with any except this one so to me and several people I know that own [redacted] for one they cant believe that they cannot get it fixed and the have came out and used it to see how it acts second they cannot believe that greenline will not buy it back completely as they've put the majority of hours on it and neither my self or the other past greenline buyers find a lloss of $5265 acceptable
