To whom it may concern,
We typically schedule a final walk-through
with the resident at least a week prior to their final move-out, as our
inspection letter states (see attached)We do final inspections with the
resident if they are scheduled ahead of time, or if we have someone
available
when the resident callsRegardless, a final walk through requires turning over
possession of the apartment to management and Mr*** would not have been
able to fix anything we might have charged for at that point
Our charges are the same across the board for
every resident with those damagesWhen it is determined that an apartment
needs a full paint, the standard charge is $We do offer a small amount
of toupaint to residents at no charge, but this would in no way have been
enough for the whole apartmentAny request for additional paint does need to
go through the leasing office, rather than the maintenance teamHe was charged
to clean his ceiling fan, but also to clean the oven and dishwasher which
totaled $He could also have been charged for cleaning around the
commode and the window sills, though we did not elect to charge him for that. We have uploaded pictures as proof of the
cleaning charges as well as Mr***’s final move out walk through
We take pride in our customer service here at
Greenmar, and I am sincerely sorry if Mr*** experienced anything other
than our very bestTo that end, we are willing to settle with him for a lesser
amountWe will offer him an additional $off the cost of painting since
he was not provided with the toupaint he requested
