This Customer had his vehicle towed to our shop on Sunday, 8.13.17, called and left a message Stating it shut off while drivingHe was unsure of what happened to the truck, assumed it was a bad or blown fuseWe contacted the customer on 8.14.17, to inform him we would look at his vehicle as soon
as we could, since was no appointment made for this issue, we needed to finish all other scheduled repairs before we could assess the truckLuckily we were not busy, as some of the surrounding facilities have upwards of a month wait time to schedule a repair of this sizeWe were in contact with the customer numerous times over the time the truck was at our garage, informing him of the truck's issues, Codes the truck had and how we planned to handle his truck repairWe discussed that the truck's problems were lengthy in labor hours and also included expensive parts to replaceThrough the whole repair process, We did update the customer whenever called, usually at least once to twice a week, and also called the customer ourselves to keep him updated on our progress or if we had any questions or concernsAs stated in the customer's complaint to Revdex.com, he had no idea if his truck was even on our property at one point, yet the truck was inside our garage in plain view of several large windows. We received a phone call from the local police department regarding this customer's truckHe had called them to report that we were holding his truckWe informed the police of the truck's status at that current time and let the officer know we would do our best to have the vehicle finished and returned back to the customer as soon as possible. This vehicle was picked up after 5pm on Saturday, 9.9.17, our facility is not open on Weekends, but we wanted to ensure our customer got his truckThe customer was informed, the truck was not running at our high standards, and we wanted to keep the truck for a longer time to make sure there were no other issues, but the customer insisted on leaving with his vehicleThe customer also apologized for calling so much and inquired about future services for other vehiclesBefore leaving with his truck, he paid the full balance of his bill, with a check, (copy included with this paperwork) and thanked us for all we had done for him and his vehicle
