I hired Deaton Builder's, Incto dig footings and set posts in concrete for a hot tub platform and deckThe specifications called for all footings to be inches deepUpon visual inspection some months later, it was discovered that at least one of the footings was only poured to inches in depthWhen I contacted David Deaton asking him to fix the problem or reimburse me a portion of the $I paid him, his position is that the deck passed High Point City inspection so it is not his responsibility to do anything elseI have photographic evidence to document the substandard work
At this point, I am not seeking any monetary compensation other relief over this, I just want other potential customers to know that they need to keep a watchful eye on their project because Deaton Builder's does substandard work and does not stand behind it's work
