I did contact her and she has not returned the call. The yard was out of control and if the yard is over inches tall we no longer any service because of the height of the yard. She at first told it was not tall, but it was. The yard probably had not been cut in two months.
The yard dulled our blade

I am working with the consumer. I will have a written statement to the Revdex.com by next week

*** is scheduled to be on a Thursday cutting rotation weekly as agreed uponThe 1st time she called and spoke to me regarding this issue was 7/6/regarding how to pay her billShe was months late of her payments, so she wanted to get caught up we later found out it was a mailing address
error and we were not getting notified she wasn’t receiving themWe went ahead and sent it by emailOn July 8th she thought she was getting over charged she replied back to the email we sent her about the bill and she believed it was a cut not We pulled her quote it was per cut but we had a promo and we told her that her first cut would be freeWe corrected that and she paid that amountWe had a lot of rain the week of July 7th and it pushed us all the way back to MondayLawn was cut MondayThis was our 1st time dealing with this issueThe next week we ended up skipping her that week because she told our mower that she wanted to do every other week service on the last cut she receivedthat is why we didn’t service herI called her back on Tuesday after she called and left a few messages over the weekendI called her at or around 830am 7/I told her it would be cut today and we were sorryShe said okI got an email at 3pm that same day stating she already had the lawn cut by someone elseWe will go ahead and not charge her for the last cuts in JulyWe have written documentation to show at the time of payment she was happy with our service and hadn’t voiced any issues up until that pointWe feel that giving her free cuts on top of the 1st free cut when signing up is more than a far offer from our standpoint

I am rejecting this response because: The owner of this business has never been able to get his facts straight and is full of excuses.1.) I did hire him to do landscaping. The purpose was to remove weeds and clean up my yard in both the front and the back yard because I was going to be listing my house for sale. I asked him to clear some of the shade-loving plants to the back yard and remove weeds and debris in my front and back yards. For the front, he suggested putting in rose bushes to add some color. When my husband returned home, he had removed ALL of our plants from the front yard and left us with a garden only containing dirt and four small, diseased-looking rose bushes in the front yard, and two in the back yard.2.) Instead of removing or taking care of the weeds, he mowed them down to the ground to appear as though they were removed. So, yes, at the time I was happy with the way it appeared because he t[redacted]ed us. He didn't remove anything. A week later, everything had grown back and I was out $600+. So then I called him and asked him to come back and fix it because I had an open house coming up later in the week. 3.) I didn't have two mortgages, nor did I ever discuss my home buying/selling situation with him other than to discuss that I wanted him to make my yard look nice for selling my home. The only thing that I was stressed about was dealing with him and his poor service as I had paid him in full and was out a lot of money for a job that was never completed.4.) He did return to my home to take care of the weeds. He did this by spraying them with a weed killer. He was incredibly sloppy and in the process killed all of the grass along my fence line in my neighbors yard. He also killed a very large section of grass in my front yard (which covered about 1/3 of my lawn). 5.) He wouldn't return phone calls or messages online. It took me filing a complaint with the Revdex.com to get any response from him. In the end, he put sod in my front yard where he killed the lawn and refunded me $150 for the six half-dead rose bushes ($25 each). He didn't refund me $150 for any other reason than I wanted my money back for the dead roses, which he dug up. I asked for a refund for work that he never did, and he refused and said it was against his policy to refund money. I was never happy with his service and told him he wasn't allowed on my property to finish anything else after installing the sod because I was tired of dealing with him and every time he came to my house it seemed like my yard ended up in worse shape than before he was there. I cut my losses and my husband and I spent about 6 hours working in our yard on a Sunday finishing the work that we paid him to do. I would never recommend this company to anyone. We hired him for his A+ Revdex.com rating. He won't keep that rating if he continues to treat his customers in the same manner that he treated us. What a headache.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

She contacted us in August 2016 on a Wednesday.  She was selling her house and needed landscaping done.  She had an Oak Tree removed and the plants she had were shade plants and were in a place of full sun.  I suggested we move these plants to the back yard and she agreed.  We started the project that Friday and that is when we discovered she now owned two homes and had two mortgages.  She was stressed and alot of emotions.  When she came home she said they were showing her home that Sunday and she needed this to be completed by then and appeared stressed.  I told her I could remove the weeds, but it take three days or more for them to die once we sprayed them.  She told me to do the best I can.  After I moved the plants to the back yard she got mad and said I took all of her plants and this is not what we talked about.  I calmed her down and reviewed the conversation we had  about the plants needing shade and not full sun.  I added mulch and put it down for free.  When we were down she and her husband thanked me and said she was happy.  She also apologized.  I told her to water the plants however, some did die and I refunded her $150.  She said she was happy and even had me do extra work and resod the front yard.  She sold the home in August or September.[redacted]

Thank you for following up. This company was a nightmare to deal with. But yes, I heard from them. After ignoring me for over a week, as soon as they saw that I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, I...

received a phone call. However, the owner, [redacted], refused to give me my money back - he said he doesn't refund money. However, he did dig up the roses and refund my money for those. He did not replace them. I purchased some rosebushes from Lowe's and planted them myself. [redacted] also promised he would complete the job and fix the things he didn't do. For example, he was supposed to remove the day lilies along the fence line. However, all he did was weed-wack them so they looked like they were removed. A week later they were 6 inches tall again. He was also supposed to remove a good amount of weeds. After I filed the complaint, he came out and sprayed the plants with some kind of weed killer. He said he wouldn't dig them all up, that spraying them would take care of it, then he would remove the dead plants. However, the plants didn't die. Neither did the weeds. What died was a section of my next-door neighbor's lawn because he sprayed through our fence. He also sprayed a large section of my front lawn while he was spraying the plants/weeds in my front garden. We are selling our house, so having half of our lawn full of dead grass was terrible. He promised he'd make it right. After a total of three or four visits and no results (meaning the plants were still thriving, but the grass was looking worse) I told him I wanted my money back again so I could hire a landscaper to do the work the right way AND also now replace my front lawn that he ruined. [redacted] said he'd replace the dead grass with sod, and that he would replace my neighbor's dead grass with sod. I allowed him to do this since I wasn't getting any money back from him. My neighbor, who works from home and saw [redacted] and his crew member working on my yard, would not allow them on her property.  She asked for $50 from him so she could fix it herself. He wouldn't do that. Instead he left sod with her. When he installed the sod I wouldn't let him into my back yard to "finish" the job. He had done enough damage to my property and after four or so visits, the job should have been done. His communication is terrible and sometimes non-existent. He relies on a middle-man ([redacted]), and picks and chooses if/when he will return a call. The middle man always responded to me quickly. However that didn't help me when [redacted] was the person doing the work. The entire experience was awful. I ended up spending about seven hours in my yard finishing the job myself. I took it as a loss and a lesson learned. I'll need to do more homework before hiring a company. I thought that with an A+ rating, they would be reputable, but maybe they used to be. I appreciate your follow-up. If you have any other questions for me, please feel free to call me ([redacted]) or email me. Thank you,
