1. Failure to complete necessary repairs under warranty. Customer Service Manager has not scheduled repairs listed on detailed reports.
We have completed a majority of the warranty items as we have been made aware of by the customer. We have...

attempted to schedule the remaining few items with her but she has been unwilling to give us permission to return.
2. The walk thru was only 20 minutes.
Commodore builds the home based on the order placed by the Dealer/Community and sells the home to the Dealer/Community who in turn sells and delivers the home to the homeowner which includes the walk thru. The Dealer installs the home on site and finishes or installs certain items such as shingles, siding, rain gutters, garages etc.
3. Immediately noticed extremely poor workmanship with electricity, carpentry, cabinetry, door trim, door jambs, doors not closing properly, door knobs cheap and falling off.
These items are typically fixed and or adjusted by the Dealer/Community. We were contacted by the homeowner about these items because she felt she could no longer work with her selling dealer (the original dealer has since sold the community and the homeowner apparently feels the same way about working with the new owners). We sent factory techs to her home on two separate occasions to remedy her issues. Both times work was completed and the homeowner signed off on the work as satisfactory only to say a few days later that nothing is acceptable. The only items remaining unresolved is some staining on a bedroom window which the homeowner claims is ruined, replace two bathroom sinks with correct ones, loose wires under dishwasher, repair grout cracks and determine if there is an issue with the furnace. We have tried to schedule these items on February 16th and April 17th. We have sent e-mails and left messages with no response from homeowner.
4. Major heating problem with mst. bedrm suite. HVAC expert provided report to mgr. of community that furnace is not properly insulated and pointed out where trunk line problem is for heat but no repairs done.
The homeowner complained that there wasn’t enough heat to her master bedroom and bath. Our techs installed an additional duct in the bath room and adjusted the registers in her home to evenly distribute the airflow as we had asked the homeowner to do on several occasions. During their two days at the home with outside temperatures in the teens the house maintained 71 degrees in the master bedroom and 73 degrees at the opposite end of the home. This is well within the manufacturers standards of performance for the furnace. After that visit the homeowner complained again of insufficient heat in the master bedroom. We worked with the owner of the community to arrange for a local contractor to inspect the heating system who in turn said there may be a problem with the duct work underneath. We have offered to the homeowner to send our techs out to inspect and repair any problem if necessary.
5. Rain water is pouring into garage from side door. Rain is damaging all windows and foundation of home. Expert opinions rendered are design of home is defective and requires gutters.
Commodore builds manufactured homes that require significant work to be performed by the selling dealer/community which includes roofing, siding, flooring, trim etc. Foundations, garages and rain gutters are all sold and done by the dealer/community and this has been explained on several occasions to the homeowner. Commodore has no warranty regarding these items.
6. Bedroom window has brown sticky liquid substance that blew into inside of window and blinds and has stained both.
Our experience has shown that the material referred to is sap from lumber used to frame the walls of the house and has leaked out sometime after manufacture of the home. We have advised the homeowner of this and that we would first clean the sap off of the window and replace the blind. If that would not be the case we would replace the window.
Commodore has made numerous attempts to work with this homeowner and will continue to honor our warranty on the home. The homeowner has made it impossible to finish the remaining items on the home because of her demands as to do what she wants the way she wants it done. We repair certain items deemed repairable and replace others when needed to bring to our established standards as described in our warranty and homeowners manual. Our warranty is very specific on what and how we will remedy various legitimate defects with the home. We have 65 years as a home builder utilizing this warranty and maintain that we can and will make the home perform the way it is designed. Ms. [redacted] has continued to make unreasonable demands outside of our warranty, refuses to let us perform work to honor the warranty that is provided with her home and has expectations of the home that are not consistent with the design and standards of the home she purchased. Commodore stands ready and willing to service and warrant any remaining legitimate items attributed to Commodore to bring to our standards. Until the customer cooperates with us to make these repairs and does not try to dictate the terms of our warranty we will be unable to help remedy her problems. She will need to contact [redacted] (Service Manager) and schedule the work to be completed.

BEFORE I FILED MY COMPLAINT WITH THE Revdex.com, I READ SOME REVIEWS OF COMMODORE HOMES & IRONICALLY THEY CONTAINED THE SAME OR SIMILAR PROBLEMS THAT I WAS HAVING & COMMODORE WOULD NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. ALSO, IT IS NOT EVEN A Revdex.com ACCREDITED BUSINESS.I CONTACTED [redacted] PRES. & CEO OF COMMODORE, HOPING I WOULD GET SOME UNDERSTANDING & COOPERATION. BUT MY LETTER WAS JUST SHUFFLED BACK TO [redacted] & [redacted] I WILL BE FAXING ALL APPROPRIATE CORRESPONDENCE TO THE Revdex.com BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO PRESENT MY CASE AND THE TRUTH. WHEN I MOVED IN HERE, I HAD NO IDEA WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT REPAIRS. I KEPT CALLING THE SALES OFFICE TO REPORT PROBLEMS SUCH AS A "HOT" BUT HALF-CONNECTED ELECTRICAL OUTLET THAT MY NEPHEW FOUND. NOTHING WAS EVER EXPLAINED TO ME. RE: PARAGRAPH 3 - WHY DID COMMODORE SEND OUT WORKERS IN THE 1ST PLACE IF THESE PROBLEMS WERE NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY? AND COMMODORE HOMES IS STILL REFUSING TO STAND BY THEIR WARRANTIES. THEY ARE REFUSING A REPLACE A WINDOW RUINED BY A STICKY SUBSTANCE WHICH BLEW IN WHEN A "J" CHANNEL FAILED. THEY INSTALLED THIS PART & MUST STAND BY THE WARRANTY. AN HVAC EXPERT HAS STATED COMMODORE FAILED TO INSTALL INSULATION IN MAJOR PARTS OF THE FURNACE & THERE IS A PROBLEM UNDER THE MIDDLE OF THE HOUSE IN THE MAIN TRUNK LINE WHICH IS WHY HEAT DOES GET INTO THE MST. BEDRM SUITE. THEY ARE FULLY AWARE THAT NO REPAIRMEN WILL BE ALLOWED IN MY HOME UNTIL COMMODORE AGREES TO PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT WINDOW & BLINDS. THEY MUST REPLACE 3 (NOT 2) BATHROOM SINKS WITH SQUARE ONES. THIS WAS THEIR MISTAKE. THEY KEEP INSISTING THEY HAVE MADE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO WORK WITH ME & WILL CONTINUE TO HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. THEN WHY ARE THEY NOT DOING THIS. THEY ARE LYING. I AM THE PERSON WHO HAS DONE ALL THE WORK TO GET THINGS REPAIRED, WRITING DETAILED LETTERS, ETC. AND I AM ABSOLUTELY INSULTED BY & RESENT THE LAST PARAGRAPH OF THIS REPLY WRITTEN BY [redacted]. IT IS A COMPLETE LIE. I ONLY SIGNED OFF ON THEIR SERVICE REQUESTS (MADE SOME NOTES ABOUT NOT DONE) BECAUSE I THOUGHT THE REPAIRS WERE DONE. BUT WHEN CAULK & GROUT CRACK AFTER 2 DAYS, WOOD TRIM FALLS OFF OF CABINETS, CORNICES ARE NOT NAILED ON CABINETS, HUNDREDS OF BIG NAIL HOLES IN WOOD TRIM, DOORS DO NOT CLOSE PROPERLY BECAUSE THEY DID NOT SEE THAT THE HINGES WERE SPRUNG, DOOR KNOBS ARE SO CHEAP THEY ALMOST FALL OFF, SOMETHING HAS TO BE WRONG. I WILL BE FAXING PAGES OF ALL CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN MYSELF, COMMODORE & FOUR SEASONS TO SHOW THAT I HAVE BEEN VERY PATIENT & WILLING TO LET WORKERS IN WHO WILL FIX SOMETHING OR RENDER AN EXPERT OPINION. I GOT ALONG VERY WELL WITH [redacted] UNTIL SHE DECIDED, WITHOUT EVER SEEING THE RUINED WINDOW, THAT COMMODORE WOULD NOT PAY FOR IT. THAT IS WHEN I ADVISED HER THAT NO WORK WOULD BE DONE UNTIL SHE AGREED TO PAY FOR THE WINDOW. IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT. COMMODORE HAS NOT SENT ANY EXPERT TO INVESTIGATE ANY ISSUES. PARAGRAPH 5 - MY SALES PERSON NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT HAVING GUTTERS INSTALLED. ALL NEW HOMES IN THE COMMUNITY DO NOT HAVE GUTTERS. EVEN THE NEW MANAGER HAS A HOME HERE & SHE HAS WATER POURING INTO HER GARAGE ALSO BECAUSE OF NO GUTTERS. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT GUTTERS SHOULD BE A PART OF THE MAIN MANUFACTURE OF THE HOME. THE 12" OVERHANG IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO KEEP RAIN FROM BATTERING THE WINDOWS, TUNNELING AROUND THE ENTIRE FOUNDATION & POURING INTO MY GARAGE. BUT IF NOT, THEN FOUR SEASONS MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM & PAY TO HAVE THEM INSTALLED. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY OTHER OWNERS IN THIS COMMUNITY TO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING TO BE REPAIRED & THAT ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY, THAT IS IT. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY COMMODORE WILL NOT RELENT AND PAY FOR A REPLACEMENT WINDOW TO RESOLVE THIS CONFLICT & FINISH ALL THE OUTSTANDING ISSUES. I REALLY BELIEVED THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY WOULD SEE THE IRRATIONALITY OF THIS ENTIRE SITUATION, THAT HIS MGRS. ARE NOT FOLLOWING THE WARRANTY ISSUES, AND HE WOULD OVERRULE THEM & STATE THAT COMMODORE WOULD REPLACE AND PAY FOR THE NEW BEDROOM & PUT AN END TO THIS ABSURD SITUATION. IF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN, MY NEXT STEP WILL BE TO GO TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF INDIANA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. I PAID CASH FOR THIS HOUSE & HAD TO USE A LOT OF MY SAVINGS TO PAY CASH. I HAVE BEEN DISABLED FOR 27 YRS. & AM LOOKING AT SPINAL SURGERY IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I HAD TO GO BEFORE AN ADMINISTRATIVE JUDGE FOR MY PERMANENT SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY. HE HAD READ MY MEDICAL RECORDS & AWARDED ME THE DISABILITY IN 40 MINUTES WHICH IS VERY SHORT. THE JUDGE WAS IMPRESSED THAT I WAS THERE WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY. I TOLD HIM I COULD NOT AFFORD ONE PLUS I TRULY BELIEVED I WAS ENTITLED TO PERMANENT DISABILITY. I WILL ALWAYS FIGHT FOR WHAT I KNOW IS RIGHT. [redacted]

PLEASE ADVISE ME WHAT WORK WILL BE DONE EACH DAY, PARTICULARLY THE INSTALLATION OF THE THREE (3) SQUARE BATHROOM SINKS. PLEASE ADVISE ME OF THE SIZE OF THE SINKS & THE INSTALLATION PROCESS BY MAY 5, 2017 SO I CAN MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT THE SMALL SINKS I HAVE SEEN. I EXPECT EVERY ITEM ON THE LIST WILL BE ADDRESSED AND REPAIRED TO MY SATISFACTION. I WOULD APPRECIATE A COPY OF THE HVAC REPORT FROM [redacted] PLEASE ADVISE ME ASAP OF THE START DAY DURING THE WEEK OF MAY 15, 2017.
