We recently had Greenville Comfort Systems install a furnace in our home. Being a one story home, the furnace is in the attic. The team from Greenville comfort Systems did and outstanding job installing our furnace. From price to quality of work, I highly recommend Greenville Comfort Systems for any Heating or Air conditioning needs, Great people to work with at a great price
Review: Our furnace quit working properly so we called Greenville Comfort Systems and had someone come out and work on our furnace. They came, concluded that we had ice in our intake pipe, took the intake pipe cap off, charged us $79 and left. It took 2-3 days for our house to warm up. This was almost 3 weeks ago. Last week we lost heat again, with the exact same problem. Even with the cap off the pipe, it wasn't keeping the house warm in such cold weather. We called the same company and wanted them to come look at it and they wanted to charge us the $79 again, said there was nothing they could do. If it was a different problem (other than ice in the intake pipe) then we would have to pay it, if it was the same problem (ice) we wouldn't have to. I knew it was something other than ice and after several conversations that went nowhere with them my husband and I had Greenville Heating and Air Conditioning come out. They concluded that were was no ice in the pipe, found that the problem was a clog in the drain system (that drains excess water), unclogged it and the house was warm again within 2-3hours. They had to put the intake pipe cap back on because the furnace actually wouldn't run properly without it on.Desired Settlement: My husband and I would like the $79 back that we paid Comfort Systems to come out the first time because they did not fix our problem and would not help us when we still had no heat. If they could have come out the second time without that fee and just charged what it would have cost to actually fix it, there would be no problem. I have a 1yr old and am pregnant. When it's below 0, we need heat in our house. We just wanted to be treated right.
